Getting started

To replace the battery, push the protruding tab at the bottom of the LCD. The edge of the battery container will then appear on the upper side of the LCD. Pull the battery container out. Insert the battery according to the correct polarity marks. Push the battery container back in.
Press the POWER/ZERO button to turn the device on. Press and hold the POWER/ZERO button for 2 seconds to turn the device off. Thedevice will shut down in 5 minutes of no activity.

Usage

Hold function. To freeze the readings, press the HOLD button. The H icon will appear on the screen. Press HOLD button again to return to measurement mode.
Angle measurement. To measure, place the device on a flat surface. Make sure that both ruler blades are together. Rotate the central knob clockwise or counterclockwise to tighten/loosen the ruler blade. To measure the inside/outside angle, press the POWER/ZERO again to set the device to 0, and then rotate only one of the ruler blades clockwise or counterclockwise. The measurements will appear on the LCD display.
Low battery indicator status. When the LCD display is flashing, it means that the battery status is low. In this case, please replace the battery.
