Hello
Lightcloud Blue is a Bluetooth mesh wireless lighting control system that
allows you to control RAB’s various compatible devices. With RAB’s patent-
pending Rapid Provisioning technology, devices can be quickly and easily
commissioned for residential and large commercial applications using the
Lightcloud Blue mobile app. Each device in a system can communicate with any
other device, eliminating the need for a Gateway or Hub and maximizing the
control system’s reach.

Installing your Lightcloud Blue Lamp

Turn off power
WARNING • Place the wall switch in the off position.
• Turn off the main power at the breaker panel or remove the fuse from the fuse box. -
Find a suitable location • Lightcloud Blue devices should be positioned within 60 ft. of each other.
• Building materials such as brick, concrete and steel construction may require additional Lightcloud Blue devices to extend around an obstruction. -
Installing device
• Remove old lamp.
• Remove plastic plug from new lamp, then insert Lightcloud Blue Plug-in Controller (sold separately) into port.
• Screw new lamp in clockwise. Do not overtighten. Overtightening may cause damage to the light.
• Individually pivot each of the adjustable panels down to best cover the desired sptace. Depending on the type of light fixture, it may be necessary to pivot light heads out of the way before screwing the bulb into the fixture.
• Adjust all angles as needed. (Do not stare directly into LED lights when adjusting settings.) -
Connect device to power
After installed, turn the power on and the lamp will enter pairing mode automatically if it has not already been paired. Once the lamp has been paired, it will indicate by flashing on and off 5 times and then dim to 30% brightness.
Controlling your Lightcloud Blue Device
- Confirm your Lightcloud Blue lamp with plug-in controller is powered on.
- Download the Lightcloud Blue app from the Apple° App Store or Googl• Play store.
- Launch the App and create an account.
- Tap the “add device” icon in the app to start connecting devices.
- Follow the remaining steps in the app. Create areas, groups, and scenes to organize and control your devices.
- You’re all set!
Setting Device to Pairing Mode
To restore your Lightcloud Blue Garage Lighter to factory settings, use the
following methods.
Method 1: Delete from App Open the app and access the device settings for
the paired device. Be sure that the lamp is online and select ‘Delete”.
Method 2: Manual Power the lamp off and on 5 times consecutively. Do not
allow less than I second and more than lOs elapse before switching off and
keep off for at least 3s before switching on. The lamp will flash 3 times,
then reset to 10096 brightness at default ca.
Method 3: Rapid Reset Tool The rapid reset process must be done by
professional electricians qualified by RAB. Reach out to your RAB sales
manager to request a Rapid Reset Tool. The tool simply needs to be placed
directly on the Lightcloud Blue Plug-In Controller for 2 seconds. The lamp
will flash 3 times, then reset to 100% brightness at default CC.

Cleaning & Maintenance
CAUTION: Be sure fixture temperature is cool enough to touch. Do not clean or maintain while fixture is energized.
- Turn power OFF.
- Use a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive glass cleaner.
- Lightly wipe and clean the fixture.
DO NOT use solvents. DO NOT use cleaners containing abrasive ingredients. NEVER spray cleaning liquid directly onto the LEDs, fixture, or wiring.
Troubleshooting
