CREATE CTB1288 Juicer
Thank you for choosing our juicer. Before using the appliance, and to ensure
the best use, carefully read these instructions.
The safety precautions enclosed herein reduce the risk of death, injury and
electrical shock when correctly adhered to. Keep the manual in a safe place
for future reference, along with the completed warranty card, purchase receipt
and package. If applicable, pass these Instructions on to the next owner of
the appliance. Always follow basic safety precautions and accident-prevention
measures when using an electrical appli-ance. We assume no liability for
customer failing to comply with these requirements.
SECURITY INSTRUCTIONS
When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be observed.
- The main body, including the power cord and any attachment fitted should be checked thoroughly for any defects. Should the appliance, for instance, have been dropped or it has fallen, it must no longer be used. Even invisible damage may have adverse effects on the operational safety of the appliance.
- Do not allow the appliance or Its power cord to touch hot surfaces or to come Into contact with any heat sources.
- Always remove the plug from the wall socket after use, in case of any malfunction, and also before cleaning the appliance.
- When removing the plug from the wall socket, never pull from the power cord. Do not let the power cord hang free.
- This appliance should only be used with the attachments provided by the manufacturer and in accordandce with the purposes described in this manual.
- Children are not aware of the dangers that may occur when operating electrical appliances. Therefore keep such appliances away from children.
- No responsibility will be accepted if damage results from Improper use or if these instruc-tions are not complied with.
- This appliance can be used by children and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards Involved.
- This appliance is intended for domestic use only and for commercial applications.
- In order to comply with safety regulations and to avoid hazards, repairs of electrical appliances must be carried out by qualified personnel. If repairs are needed, please send the appliance to one of our customer service departments.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Before the juicer is used for the first time it must be cleaned as described in the Cleaning section.
- Open the storage compartment on the underside of the appliance and take out the juicer cone.
- Attach the Juice container to the drive shaft of the base unit.
- Place the pulp sieve in the container.
- Fit the juicer cone on to the drive shaft.
- Push the spout upwards to ensure that the extracted juice remains in the container. However, the juice may also be collected straight into a suitable container placed under the spout in this case, the spout must face downwards.
- Insert the plug into a suitable wall socket
- Cut the citrus fruit in half and push one of the halves lightly down on to the cone with the cut section facing downwards.
- The drive shalf will start rotating automatically once pressure is applied to the cone. The appliance switches off when pressure on the cone is lifted.
- When processing larger quantities of fruit, the pulp sieve must be emptied from time to time as necessary.
- To collect the juice, place a suitable container under the spout. Push the spout downwards. The extracted juice passes now straight into the container. Once the desired amount of juice has been collected, push the spout upwards again.
- Ensure the plug is removed from the wall socket after use.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
- Before cleaning the appliance, remove the plug from the wall socket.
- To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not clean the base unit or power cord with water, and do not Immerse them in water.
- Do not use abrasive, harsh cleaning solutions or hard brushes for cleaning.
- The base unit may be wiped with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth.
- The attachments should be thoroughly cleaned using hot water and a mild detergent. The pulp sieve may also be cleaned in a dishwasher.
- For periods of non-use, attach the pulp sieve and the dust cover to the appliance after cleaning and place the juicer cone in its storage compartment.
In compliance with Directives: 2012/19/EU and 2015/863/EU on the restriction of the use of dangerous substances in electric and electronic equipment as well as their waste disposal.
The symbol with the crossed dustbin shown on the package indicates that the product at the end of its service life shall be collected as separate waste. Therefore, any products that have reached the end of their useful life must be given to waste disposal centers specializing in separate collection of waste electrical and electronic equipment or given back to the retailer at the time of purchasing new similar equipment,on a one-for-one basis. The adequate separate collection for the subsequent start-up of the equipment sent to be recycled, treated, and disposed of in an environmentally compatible way contributes to preventing possible negative effects on the environment and health and optimizes the recycling and reuse of components making up the apparatus. Abusive disposal of the product by the user involves the application of administrative sanctions according to the laws.
