Thank you for choosing our hair straightener. Before using the appliance, and to ensure the best use, carefully read these instruc-tions.
The safety precautions enclosed herein reduce the risk of death, injury and electrical shock when correctly adhered to.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be observed.

  • Read all instructions before using. Ensure the cord is in perfect condition. If there is any damage to the cord the appliance must NOT be used until the cord is replaced.
  • Never take the appliance apart. There are no serviceable parts inside.
  • Before plugging in check that voltage indicated on the rating label corresponds to the mains voltage.
  • Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is operating or plugged in.
  • Don’t cover the thermal metal plates with other things, to avoid damaging the components.
  • Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.
  • Don’t place the thermal metal plates close to any person’s skin when in use, it is dangerous.
  • Always keep the power supply cord away from the high temper-ature surface. If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
  • Never use this appliance when it is damaged. Do not use any extension cord with this appliance.
  • Warning: Do not use this appliance near water or with wet hands.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including chil-dren) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  • For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.
  • When the hair straightener is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the hair straightener is switched off.

OPERATION

  • Wash your hair with an appropriate shampoo before using the appliance. Hair should be 80% dry and clean.
  • Check the supply voltage before using it and then insert the plug.
  • Plug in the hair iron and place on a smooth, dry and flat surface.
  • Press ON/OFF switch to tum it on. It shows 120 °C, and the ION function is automatically on.
  • Press +/-to set the temperature. Press+ to increase the temper-ature 10 °C per step, until it goes to the max. 210 °C. Press to reduce the temperature 10 °C per step, until it goes to the min. 120 °C. The appliance will sound an alert when a desired temperature is reached.
  • A LOCK sign will be shown 3 seconds after the appliance reaches the desired temperature. Long press the ON/FF button to unlock the temperature.
  • Without using the appliance for about 30 minutes since switching on or the last setting of the temperature, the appliance will turn off automatically.
  • After using, press ON/OFF switch to tum it off.
  • When the hair iron has completely cooled down, clean it with a soft cloth. Do not use chemical cleaners.

STRAIGHTENING

  • Starting from the top of the head, next to your scalp, select a small section of hair (approx. 2 inches wide and¼ inch deep) and clamp between the metal plates. Maintaining some tension, slowly slide the appliance down the section of hair from roots to tips. Be careful to avoid touching your hands or scalp with the hot plates.

CURLING

  • Take the hair section and place between the straightening plates.
  • Hold the appliance handle in one hand and the cold tip in the other. Turn the appliance 180° back on itself so that the hair is wrapped once around the outside of the appliance.
  • Slowly glide the appliance along the length of your hair, from root to tip in a downward motion.
  • Release the appliance and repeat for each section of hair.
  • Allow the hair to cool before styling.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  1. Make sure the appliance is switched off and unplugged.
  2. Let the appliance cool down completely on a heat-resistant surface. Never wind the power cord around the appliance.
  3. Clean the appliance with a damp cloth.
  4. Use the lock-in close switch to lock the heating plates before storing the appliance.
  5. Place the straightener in the heat-resistant pouch for easy storage and portability.
