Installation for lights with one wall switch (single pole)

Remove the existing switch from the wall
Remove the wallplate trc«n switch. Remove the switch and pull it away from the wall. Disconnect all three wires’ from the switch.

Ganging and Derating Important note:
Multi-gang installations may reduce the dimmer’s maximum wattage rating. Sæ

Connect the dimmer
- Connect the bare copper (or green} ground” wire from the wall box to the green Wre on the dimmer using one of the largely supplied wire connectors.
- Connect either of the remaining våes from the wall box to the black wire on the dimmer using one Of tne large supplied wire connectors.
- Connect the remaining wire from the wall box to tne wire on the dimmer using one of the supplied web connectors.
- Cap the blue wire coming from the dimmer with the small supplied connector. The blue wire is not for single-pee installations,

Mount the dimmer
- using the screws provided.
Attach the wallplate
Attact to the dinner using the screws provided and the snap-on wall plate.
Turn the power on at the circuit breaker
To use your Caséta Wireless system
With a smartphone or tablet (Smart Hub required, sold separately)
The Caséta Wireless Diva Smart Dimmer can be controlled from a smartphone when used with the Lutron Smart Hub (Srnan Bridge) and the Lutron app. If you are using the dinner and remote control with the Iutrco Smart Hub follow the instructions below.

Launch the Lutron app
Use the Lutron app to complete ALL remaining steps
Without a smartphone or tablet

Pairing the dimmer and Pico remote control
- Press and hold the “off” button on the dimmer
- Press and hold the “off” button on remote Changing the favorite light level on the Pico remote control (sold separately)
- Set the desired light level on a dimmer
- Press and hold the “favorite” button remote

Using your controls
Replacing light bulbs using FASS
Pun the FASS switch out on the in-wall dimmer to remove power at the light
socket.

Set the desired light level on a dimmer

Grounding
When no “grounding means’ exist in the wall box, the National Electncai Ccxie
(NEC) allows a control to be installed as a replacement if 1) a nonmetallic,
noncombustible faceplate is used with nonmetallic attachment or 2) the circuit
is protected by a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI). When installing
central according to these methods, cap or remove green waste before
controlling into the wall box.
