Product Information

The LED Solar Wall Light with Motion Sensor is a battery-operated wall light with 14 LEDs, 12 in the front and 2 in the rear. The light has a neutral white color with a temperature of 4000 K and a luminous flux of 220 lm. The LED beam angle is not specified, but the max luminous range is 5-6 m. The light has a motion sensor that uses infrared passive (PIR) technology with a detection range of 2-6 m and a detection angle of 120 degrees. The light is protected against water jets and has an IP65 protection level. The light is not dimmable, and the operating temperature is not specified. The product comes with a rechargeable 18650 Li-Ion battery, which is exchangeable, with a capacity of 1200 mAh. The battery can last for up to 3 days with 6 hours of direct sunlight, and it takes approximately 7-8 hours to fully charge the battery. The light also comes with a polycrystalline silicon solar panel with a peak wattage of 0.7 Wp.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before installation, read the safety instructions and product description carefully.
  2. Choose an appropriate location to install the light where there is enough sunlight to charge the battery. Keep a distance of 1 meter from any illuminated object.
  3. Use the mounting template and included mounting material to install the light on a wall or other suitable surface at a height of 2-4 meters. Ensure that the screws are securely fastened.
  4. To turn on the light, flip the switch located on the back of the light to the “On” position.
  5. The light will automatically turn on when it detects motion in its detection range and when the ambient light level is low enough. The light will turn off after 10 seconds of no motion.
  6. To replace the battery, carefully remove the battery compartment cover and replace the battery with a new 18650 Li-Ion battery.
  7. Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the light. The light is maintenance-free, but it should be periodically cleaned with a soft cloth to remove any dirt or debris that may accumulate over time.
  8. When disposing of the light, follow local regulations for electronic waste disposal.

Preparation

  • Check the scope of delivery for completeness and integrity.

Installing

WARNING! Risk of electric shock

  • Pay attention to current-carrying or other lines, lying behind plaster and do not damage them!

CAUTION! Risk of falling

  • Keep yourself safe at the product’s set-up location! The surface must be stable. The supplied mounting material is only suitable for concrete and stone walls. Other dowels must be used for mounting on other surfaces. Plants, street lights, reflective surfaces and ventilation openings must not be near or in the detection range. There must be no flammable objects in the vicinity. A distance of 1 m from the illuminated object must be maintained.

Recommended installation location: as sunny as possible, 2-4 m installation height.

  1. Use the enclosed mounting template and, if necessary, a spirit level to mark the mounting holes.
  2. Drill the required number of mounting holes with a Ø 6 mm drill bit.
  3. Insert the required number of dowels and fixing screws into the holes. Allow the fixing screws to protrude about 4 mm from the wall.
  4. Hang the product on the fixing screws from above.
  5. Carefully tighten the fastening screws. If the solar light does not work immediately, place or hang it in a sunny spot for a few days so that the battery can charge via the solar panel.
