What is in the box

  1. Some SIM cards are too thin and require you to add the SIM card sticker (C) onto your SIM card (D) to ensure a proper fit. Remove the protective layer on the SIM card sticker (C) and place the sticker on the Top of the SIM card. Bottom Top Top with sticker

  1. Insert the Mini SIM card (C) into the SIM card slot (J).

  1. Connect the power cable (B) to the hub (A) and plug in the power adapter into a wall socket.
  2. Turn on the power by pressing the power switch (D). The LED light bar will indicate power is on when the light appears above the power symbol.

  1. You are ready to connect to the Wi-Fi when a light appears on LED light bar above the 2.4 and/or 5. It may take up to 3 minutes for your system to connect. See the SIM card troubleshoot page if you experience problems

  2. Connect your laptop or other internet enabled device to the wireless network. The Wi-Fi network name (Wi-Fi SSiD) and Password can be found on the bottom of your hub. You will now be connected to the wireless router, but you may not be able to access the internet without entering the SIM card’s PIN code.

  3. Open your web browser and enter: http://192.168.8.1

  4. Your web browser may inform you that your connection isn’t private.
    Click: advanced
    Click: continue to 192.168.8.1

  5. You will now be prompted to enter a Username and Password 9.
    Username: admin
    Password: admin + last 4 digits of IMEI#
    (example): admin1234
    Locate the last 4 digits of your IMEI number on the bottom of the hub. After a successful login, you will be prompted to change your password. This is not required. If you change your password you will have to login again.

  6. Enter the PIN provided by your SIM card provider
    Click: Verify
    Click: OK Under the Pin Managment tab
    Click: Disable
    Enter: your PIN code
    Click: Apply

  7. Download the Heimgard app

Troubleshoot

Check that the cables are inserted correctly

Note: It could take up to 5 minutes for your Hub to start. The software may be updating.

If you are experiencing any abnormal behaviour you can perform a Factory Reset.

Note: This process will delete your existing system and reset it. You will need to reconfigure all your devices after the reset.

You will need a pen. Press and hold reset button (G) for 5 seconds. The process can take up to 5 minutes to successful reset. You will now need to reconnect to be able to connect to your device.

  13. Unplug this device during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
  14. All servicing should be performed by qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the device has been damaged in any way.
  15. The main plug should be easily available to disconnect the device.
  16. Operating temperature: 0°C to +50°C
  17. Operating relative humidity: 5% to 85% RH (no condensation)
