What is in the box

  1. Connect the device (A) to a wall socket
  2. Open the Heimgard app and follow the steps listed here to connect to your device:Heimgard-Combustible-Gas-Detector-fig 4
  3. Insert the metal pin (B) and press join button (C) for 3 seconds while your app is scanning for the device
  4. Your device will appear in the Found Devices list. Click configure to add the device to a specific room.
    The device is preconfigured as part of your alarm system and will sound when alarm is triggered.

Mounting

Before use, confirm whether the gas that is to be detected is heavier or lighter than air.
If the gas has heavier density than air, install the device 30-100 cm above the floor with less than 150 cm from the gas source. LPG for example.
If the gas has lighter density than air, install the sensor install the device 30-100 cm below the ceiling and less than 150 cm from the source. Natural gas, manufactured gas, marsh gas, etc.

Warm up Alternate flashing green/red/yellow
Test Alternate flashing green/red/yellow Sound «Di-di»
Alarm Red Flashing

Sound «Di-di»

Fault| Yellow solid

Sound: Long «diiii»

Troubleshooting

Insert the metal pin (B) and press the reset button (C) for 5 seconds to disconnect the device from the network. The LED will flash 6 times to indicate successful disconnect.

  9. Unplug this device during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
  10. All servicing should be performed by qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the device has been damaged in any way.
  11. Operating temperature: -10°C to +50°C
  12. Operating relative humidity: < 95% RH (no condensation)

Dispose the product properly at the end of life. This is elec-tronic waste which should be recycled accordingly.
