The bypass is to be used with LED bulbs or energy-saving compact fluorescent lamps and no neutral wire.
The bypass prevents LEDs from flickering and compact fluorescent lamps from glowing when turned off. It reduces the minimum power of load required by the dimmer or switch for correct operations. The bypass provides powering of the dimmer or switches in case of controlling low loads.Heimgard-118394-Rotary-
