Notes for network separation
The product has no power switch and may be used only in easily accessible outlets to quickly remove it in an emergency and after use.
Voltage-free only with pulled plug.

This product is a voltage converter for use with USA electrical/electronic household appliances in Euro-pe. It converts 230 V to 110 V .

Intended use

We do not permit using the device in other ways like described in chapter „Description and Function“ or in the „Safety Instructions“. Use the product only in dry interior rooms. Not attending to these regulations and safety instructions might cause fatal accidents, injuries, and damages to per-sons and property.

Preparation

  1. Check the scope of delivery for completeness and integrity.
  2. Compare the specifications of all used devices and ensure compatibility.

Connection and operation

DANGER! Risk of electric shock

  • Insert the plug of your terminal device flush into the US/Japan socket of the voltage converter!

NOTICE! Material damage

  • Use the product only with electrical/electronic household appliances!
  • Do NOT operate IT equipment with the appliance!
  • Do NOT operate power strips with the appliance!
  1. Connect your terminal device to the US/Japan socket of the voltage converter.
    Make sure that the plug is inserted flush in the voltage converter and that it is in contact with the housing.
    Pay attention to the power limits for short-time and permanent loads as specified in section 2.4!

  2. Insert the Euro plug or Safety power plug of the voltage converter into a free and easily accessible socket.
    To disconnect the voltage converter after use, proceed in reverse order.

  3. Unplug the voltage converter from the socket.

  4. Remove the US/Japan plug of your terminal de-vice from the voltage converter.

Troubleshooting

Problem Solution
The voltage converter does not work. • Observe the assembly sequence in the

section “Connection and operation”.
• Make sure that the cables are connected properly.
Unpleasant odors, humming, etc.| • Disconnect the unit from the mains immediately!
The unit is overloaded.
Other problems| • Contact the dealer or manufacturer.

Maintenance, Care, Storage and Transportation

The product is maintenance-free.

NOTICE! Material damage

  • Disconnect the product from the mains before cleaning it.
  • Only use a dry and soft cloth for cleaning.
  • Do not use detergents or chemicals.
  • Store the product out the reach of children and in a dry and dust-protected ambience when not in use.
  • Store cool and dry.
  • Keep and use the original packaging for trans-port.
