BEFORE YOU BEGIN

IMPORTANT: Before installing the product, please make sure you meet all of the requirements listed below.

Sizing Requirements
  • Please measure your toilet to make sure that there is enough space for the Bidet as noted below

  • Center hole spacing must be between 4-1/5″ and 6-1/2″ (107mm – 165mm).

  • The tee connector used for this product is 15/16″ (24mm).

  • For EB500 – E, the distance from the mounting hole to the front end of the toilet must be between 16-9/10″ and 18-9/10″ (428mm – 480mm).

  • For EB500 – R, the distance from the mounting hole to the front end of the toilet must be between 16-1/10″ and 18-1/10″ (410 – 461mm).

Product Functions

Rear Wash
  1. TURN THE LEVER COUNTERCLOCKWISE FROM THE VERTICAL POSITION.
  2. THE NOZZLE FOR REAR WASH EXTENDS FORWARD AND THE FRESH WATER SPRAY FUNCTION STARTS.
  3. THE WATER VOLUME DECREASES WHILE TURNING THE LEVER TOWARDS THE VERTICAL POSITION. IT WILL COMPLETELY SHUT OFF WHEN THE LEVER IS ON THE VERTICAL POSITION.
Front Wash
  1. TURN THE LEVER CLOCKWISE FROM THE VERTICAL POSITION.
  2. THE NOZZLE FOR FEMININE BIDET (FRONT WASH) MOVES FORWARD AND THE FRESH WATER SPRAY FUNCTION STARTS.
  3. THE WATER VOLUME DECREASES WHILE TURNING THE LEVER TOWARDS THE VERTICAL POSITION. IT WILL COMPLETELY SHUT OFF WHEN THE LEVER IS ON THE VERTICAL POSITION.
    NOTE: FRONT WASH NOZZLE IS SLIGHTLY LONGER WHEN FULLY EXTENDED AND DIRECTS SPRAY MORE IN THE FORWARD DIRECTION.
STOP
  1. DURING WASH OR BIDET STATUS, ROTATE THE LEVER TO THE VERTICAL POSITION TO STOP THE FRESHWATER SPRAY.
  2. THE NOZZLE MOVES BACK TO THE ORIGINAL POSITION.
  3. THE WATER VOLUME DECREASES WHILE TURNING THE LEVER TOWARDS THE VERTICAL POSITION. IT WILL COMPLETELY SHUT OFF WHEN THE LEVER IS ON THE VERTICAL POSITION.

Installing Your Product

Preparation

CAUTION:
The water pressure limit ranges from 10 to 110 PSI. Please use as instructed. The water shutoff valve should be near where the product can be installed or dismantled.

  • Insert the connecting bolts into the sliding plates.

  • Insert the connecting bolts with the sliding plates into the adapter plate.

  • Assemble nylon nut, fixed base, screw fixed bracket and screw into the ceramic in the order shown in the diagram.

  • Adjust the fixed base and lock the screws.

  • Push forward the bidet seat to support the fixed base.

  • Installer will hear a “Click” noise once the seat is securely locked in.

Connecting the Water Inlet Hose – Method 1

  1. Press the button on the side of the bidet cover plate and pull forward to unlatch from fixed base.

  2. Close the valve.

  3. Disassemble the water supply hose

  4. Connect the T-shaped connector to water supply pipe and water inlet pipe, and then open the valve.

Connecting the Water Inlet Hose – Method 2

  1. Press the button on the side of the bidet cover plate and pull forward to unlatch from fixed base.

  2. Turn off the water supply valve.

  3. Unscrew the water supply hose from the water tank. Place a towel below the tank to catch any dripping water.

  4. Attach the T-Shaped Connector to the water tank where you removed the water supply hose.

  5. Attach the water supply hose to the bottom of the T-Shaped Connector.

  6. If they have become loose during shipping, press the filter screen and rubber wash into the connectors at the ends of the stainless steel water inlet hose. Connect the stainless steel water inlet hose to the bidet seat and the other end to the T-Shaped Connector and securely tighten. Do not over tighten.

  7. Slowly turn on the water valve to check if there is any water leakage.

  8. Wipe the hoses and connectors thoroughly with a towel and carefully observe for any leaks for at least 10 minutes. Tighten any connectors gently until leakage stops. If any leaks continue, turn off the water supply and check older hoses for damaged rubber O-Rings and replace them if necessary.

Cleaning and Dismantling

  1. Clean the exterior of the bidet seat using a smooth sponge/cloth with diluted dish detergent to clean the product. Do not use the following: hydrogen chloride detergent, paint thinner, benzene, abrasive paper, polishing agent, bleach, or chlorine.

  2. Clean the spray nozzles. Pull out the nozzle softly and use a smooth cloth, sponge or toothbrush with liquid dish soap to clean the nozzles.

  3. Turn the water supply off, remove the stainless steel water inlet hose and clean the washer. Remove the washer with a pair of pliers. Clean the washer.

  4. Dismantle the Bidet Seat by closing the cover, pushing the dismantle button, and pulling the Bidet Seat forward.

SPRAY ROD

3 Year Limited Warranty

Moen® products have been manufactured under the highest standards of quality and workmanship. Moen warrants to the original consumer purchaser, for residential use, that these products (Bidet or e Toilet) will be leak-free and drip-free during normal use and all parts and finishes of these products will be free from defects in material and manufacturing workmanship during normal use, for three (3) years from the date of original consumer purchase for residential use (the “Warranty Period” for homeowners). All other purchasers (including purchasers for industrial, commercial and business use) are warranted for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase (the “Warranty Period” for non-homeowners).

If this Bidet or eToilet should ever develop a leak or drip during the Warranty Period, Moen will FREE OF CHARGE provide the parts necessary to put the product back in good working condition and will replace FREE OF CHARGE any part or finish that proves defective in material and manufacturing workmanship, under normal installation, use and service. Replacement parts may be obtained by calling 1-800-289-6636 (in Canada, 1-800-465-6130), or by writing to Moen Incorporated, 25300 Al Moen Drive, North Olmsted, OH 44070-8022 (in Canada, Moen, 2816 Bristol Circle, Oakville, Ontario L6H5S7, Canada). Proof of purchase (original sales receipt) from the original consumer purchaser must accompany all warranty claims. Defects or damage caused by the use of other than genuine Moen parts is not covered by this warranty. This warranty is applicable only to products purchased after December, 1995 and shall be effective from the date of purchase as shown on purchaser’s receipt.

This warranty is extensive in that it covers replacement of all defective parts and finishes. However, damage due to installation error, product abuse, product misuse, or use of cleaners containing abrasives, alcohol or other organic solvents, whether performed by a contractor, service company, or yourself, are excluded from this warranty. Moen will not be responsible for labor charges and/or damage incurred in installation, repair or replacement, nor for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, losses, injury or costs of any nature relating to these products. Except as provided by law, this warranty is in lieu of and excludes all other warranties, conditions and guarantees, whether expressed or implied, statutory or otherwise, including without restriction those of merchantability or of fitness for use.

Some states, provinces and nations do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state, province to province, nation to nation. Moen will advise you of the procedure to follow in making warranty claims. Simply write to Moen at the applicable address set forth above. Explain the defect and include proof of purchase and your name, address, area code and telephone number.
