SAFETY NOTICES

  • Read and follow these instructions carefully. If the product is passed on to third parties, these instructions must also be handed over with it.
  • This product is a multi-shredder with a rechargeable battery. Please charge fully before first use.
  • Make sure the blade is properly installed and can spin freely before adding any ingredients.
  • Do not use any sharp objects in conjunction with the appliance, as they can scratch it.
  • Never fill the container to any more than two-thirds full.
  • The appliance must never be placed in the microwave for heating or in the refrigerator for cooling, as this could damage it.
  • Do not use for processing hard foods such as dried pulses, rice or still-frozen foods.
  • Wait for the blades to come to a complete standstill before removing the splash guard or other parts
  • Never run the appliance continuously for more than 30 seconds. After running continuously for 30 seconds, leave the machine to rest for 2 minutes before starting it again. A cutting cycle should last for 2 minutes, and be undertaken in 30-second intervals. After three consecutive runs, the machine has to cool down for at least 30 minutes before the next processing can be started – this is the only way to prevent impairment of the service live, and doing so couldeven extend it.
  • The blades are extremely sharp. Never directly touch the cutting edge with your hand. Grasp the spindle to remove or install the blade.
  • Do not use steel wool, abrasive cleaning agents, or corrosive liquids such as methylated spirits or acetone, to clean the appliance. All removable parts (blades, container, splash guard) are dishwashersafe. Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth.
  • This appliance must not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its power cord out of the reach of children. This appliance should only be  used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge, if they are supervised or have been instructed on the safe use of the appliance and understand the dangers associated with its use.
  • This appliance is only suitable for domestic use, and is not intended for
    commercial use.

Warning:

Apply extreme care when removing the blade to clean the container. When cleaning, make sure that the blade does not cut your hands or fingers.

  • Never operate the appliance without ingredients inside, as this could damage it.

  • DO NOT place the appliance near a hot gas or electric stove.

  • Wait until the appliance has come to a complete standstill before removing the splash guard or other parts.

  • The appliance is free from parts that require user maintenance. Do not repair, disassemble or modify the appliance.

  • Do not make any unauthorized modifications, repairs or changes to the
    appliance.

  • Never place the appliance on hot surfaces or near open flames.

  • Never allow hands, hair, loose clothing or other objects to come into contact with the blades.

  • The blades are extremely sharp, in order to achieve an optimal cutting result. Always use with caution.

  • The containers are not suitable for microwave use, and are not ovenproof.

  • Accessories that are not included in the scope of delivery must not be used with the appliance.

  • Never blend hot ingredients.

Use (#2-#7)

  1. . Before using the appliance for the first time, it must be connected to the power supply and fully charged. During the charging process, the LED lights up red, and when the process is complete the LED turns off (#2). Clean the blade, container and splash guard (cover) with warm water and mild detergent before using for the first time (#3).

  2. Place the blades on the centring shaft in the container (#4). Put the food to be processed inside the container (#5). Never fill the container to any more than two-thirds full.

  3. Then place the splash guard on the container, and after this the motor unit (#6).Press the power button to start the shredding process (#7). Note: The blades will become blocked if the container is overfilled. Remove some of the ingredients to be shredded, and restart the process.

Warning

  1. After approximately 15 seconds, release the button to end a cycle. Hold down the button again for another cycle if the food has not yet been cut as finely as you want it. As soon as the desired extent of shredding has been reached, release the power button and wait until the blades have come to a standstill. Then remove themotor unit and splash guard, take the blades off the shaft, and empty out the ingredients.
  2. Then clean the container, blades and splash guard with water and a mild detergent. Alternatively, the parts can also be cleaned in the dishwasher.

Cleaning and care

  • Clean the splash guard, blades and container immediately after using the machine.
  • When cleaning the motor unit, never rinse it directly under running water; only ever use a soft, damp cloth to clean the outside of the unit.
  • To clean, add a sufficient amount of detergent to clean water, and use this on a cloth to clean. We recommend that you use warm water.
  • The blades are very sharp, and should never be touched with your hands. Toavoid injuries, make sure that the water is clear, so that the blades are always visible when cleaning.
  • Never use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents for cleaning.
  • After cleaning the machine, allow all parts to dry well before reassembling. Always store the appliance in a suitable place.
  • If the appliance is not used for an extended period of time, recharge it every three months.
