lgood 9151ADC Delayed Action Overhead Door Closer Instructions
Instruction
-
Delayed action allows the door to remain open for an adjustable period of time, before closing.
-
The delayed function operates from fully open down to 75° in figure 1.
-
The delay speed can be adjusted – for example: the closer is adjusted to give 20 seconds of delay between 90 and 75°, however, if the door is opened to 100° the delay would be in the region of 30 seconds and if the door were only opened to 80°, the delay would be in the region of 10 seconds.
-
Longer or shorter delay times can be achieved by adjustment shown below
-
In figure 6 delay operates from fully open down to 85°.
-
If the angle of opening is restricted to 90° or less, no delay may be evident.
-
To overcome this, move the closer and the bracket 100mm further from the hinge side. This will also restrict the angle of opening.
-
Set grey outer control with the mark towards the green zone (as shown)
-
Open door to 45 degrees to set closing speed with brass inner control
-
Open door to 90 degrees plus to set delay time, for longer delay turn brass inner control one full turn at a time clockwise, for shorter delay turn one full turn at a time anti-clockwise
-
If latch action is required, move the red outer control into the black zone
-
If delay is not required, move the red outer control into the red zone
