HOW TO CONNECT
Download the app and create an account. Click on “Add New Device” and then add your smart bulb from the list of devices. Make sure that your phone is connected to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Screw in the bulb and turn the power ON and off three times and wait for a few seconds. The bulb flashes indicating that it is in pairing mode. Now enter your Wi-Fi name and password and connect to Wi-Fi network in settings. Return back to the app and the bulb will connect automatically.
HOW TO PROGRAM
Sync the light with the Starfish application. As soon as you choose the light or set of lights, a new screen with a color wheel and a few menu options will appear. The preset options for “scene” include “dazzling,” “colorful,” and “Gorgeous,” all of which rotate through various light colors at various speeds.
HOW TO RESET
Switch the light on for two seconds, then off for two. Three more times, repeat. The bulb will blink following the fourth cycle, signifying that the reset was successful.
FAQs
Do they work with the smart life app?****
The App screenshots looks like it’s using the tuya/smart life app. It has the same interfaces as my recessed lights which I control with smart life.
What happens if Wi-Fi is lost, will the bulbs still work if the power on the wall is switched on?****
Yes, if Wi-Fi is lost the bulbs will still work. You just need Wi-Fi to dim the lamps or change color.
How do I set this light up for Siri? The user guide has no instructions.****

Is it possible to program the bulb to change colors automatically every few seconds?****
Yes, that is possible to program through the Starfish app.
Can these be used in ceiling fans?****
They could if you can get the Wi-Fi to work for them, my router would not maintain a connection to the bulb Wi-Fi.

Connect the light to the Starfish app. Once you select the light or group of lights you get a new screen with a color wheel, also there will be a few options across the top of the wheel. If you select “scene” you will get a number of preset choices, “dazzling” “colorful” and “Gorgeous” all rotate through different light colors at different speeds.
can I use this on an outdoor light?****
They are enclosed rated so they can be used outdoors only in an enclosed fixture. The bulb is damp location rated and cannot be exposed to direct moisture.
Does a GU5.3 socket version of this exist?****
I used the DiCUNO GU10 Ceramic Socket Lamp Holder for this.
Can these be used outdoors in can lights of house eves?****
Yes, they can.
I purchased nine bulbs. I can only get four to connect. I have tried several times that exact directions. is there a wi-fi extension for these?****
I returned all of my Wi-Fi bulbs. None never worked. I think it’s because of the 5G air bands & routers now & most Wi-Fi bulbs require 2.5G. But not 100% sure why they don’t work.
The smart light won’t connect to my Wi-Fi; why?****
A 2.4 GHz network must be present for Wi-Fi to work. A 5 GHz network will not permit a connection from the Smart Wi-Fi Light. Verify that your phone is not running a VPN program in the background if your Smart Wi-Fi Light is already operating at the correct frequency.
