MONACOR ATT-325ST EAS Volume Controller
Stereo Attenuator
These instructions are intended for installers with specific knowledge of PA applications. Please read the instructions carefully prior to installation and keep them for later reference.
Applications
The attenuator is especially designed for audio systems and is inserted between the stereo speaker out puts of the power amplifier and the stereo speakers (imped-ance 4 Ω). The maximum power rating of the atenuator is 25 W RMS per channel. The attenuator must be installed into a surface socket (e. g. MONACOR ATT-300).

- The unit is suitable for indoor use only. Protect it against dripping water and splash water, high air humidity and heat (admissible ambient temperature range 0 – 40 °C).
- For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never use chemicals or water.
- No guarantee claims for the unit and no liability for any resulting personal damage or material damage will be accepted if the unit is used for other purposes than orig inally intended, if it is not connected in an expert way or if it is overloaded.
If the unit is to be put out of operation defin-itively, dispose of the unit in accordance with local regulations.
Electrical Connection
The installation should only be carried out by skilled personnel.
- If the audio system is switched on, switch if off com-pletely first!
- The figure shows the connection for a pair of stereo speakers. To connect multiple pairs of speakers to the amplifier output via a single attenuator, use a corresponding connection (series connection and, if necessary, parallel connection) to make sure that the total impedance will not fall below 4 Ω. Otherwise, the power amplifier may be damaged.
- To facilitate handling, the terminals can be removed from their plug-in connections.
