Connection
Before connecting /disconnecting, switch off all devices concerned.
1) To connect a microphone, use the jack
MIC (2): Connect the microphone via a 6.3mm plug or XLR plug.
2) Two inputs are provided to connect stereo audio sources with line
signal level (e. g. MP3 player, CD player, FM/DAB tuner, tape deck, PC,
mixer):
-
* the 3.5mm jack AUX (3); when this jack is used, the integrated audio player will be muted.
- the RCA jacks INPUT CD/ LINE (14);
- L (white) = left, R (red) = right
- 3 ) To route the mixed signal to subsequent devices (e. g. to an amplifier), two outputs
- (15) are provided which can be used at the same time:
- the RCA jacks OUTPUT UNBAL.
- the XLR connectors OUTPUT BAL.
- The XLR outputs should be preferred; the balanced signal transmission of XLR connections is less susceptible to interference.

Operation
- Before switching on the mixer for the first time, set the total volume control VOLUME (12) to “MIN”.

Audio Player
When the mixer is switched on, the audio player will be automatically activated, and the operating mode last used (“USB storage medium”, “Memory card” or “Bluetooth”) will be selected.
Infrared remote control
The remote control provided uses a battery (3V button cell, type CR2025). If a battery has been inserted in the factory, remove the protective film (to protect the battery from being discharged) from the battery support. The remote control is now ready for use. When you press a button on the remote control, always point the remote control at the infrared sensor (4). Make sure that there are no obstacles between the remote control and the sensor. If the remote control is not used for a longer period of time, remove the battery as a precaution so that the remote control will not be damaged in case the battery should leak.
Inserting/Replacing the battery:
- Push the latch of the battery support to the right (arrow 1 in Fig. 3) and then pull out the support (arrow 2).
- To replace the battery, remove the discharged battery.
- Insert the new battery in the support, positive pole facing upwards. Push the support back into the remote control.
Never put batteries in the household waste. Always dispose of the batteries in accordance with local regulations.
Operating mode “USB storage
medium“ or “Memory card” The player can be used to reproduce MP3 files from memory cards (SD/ SDHC / SDXC) and USB storage media (USB hard disk withseparate power supply or USB flash drive). It also supports reproduction of WMA files, WAV files and FLAC files.
Connecting storage media:
-
* Connect a USB storage medium to the USB port (6).
- Insert a memory card, notched corner facing to the right and towards the device, into the card slot (7).
- Note: Due to the large number of storage device manufacturers and device drivers, it cannot be guaranteed that all storage media are compatible with the audio player.
If the operating mode “USB storage medium” or “Memory card” is activated after switching on and the corresponding storage medium has already been connected, reproduction of the medium will start automatically after it has been read in. If, however, the corresponding medium is missing, NO SOURCE will appear on the display (5).
As soon as a medium is connected, this medium is selected for reproduction:
If, for example, a USB flash drive is connected in the mode “Memory card”, the
audio player will automatically switch to the mode “USB storage medium”. If
two media have been connected, use the button MODE to switch over between the
media.
The control options can be found in the table (fig. 4). Information on the
display indications can be found in the overview on page 3.
