Quick Wake Up
With Sony’s Quick Wake Up feature, you’re ready to go right after turning on the ignition.2

Customizable Wallpaper
Allows changing its wallpaper to the preset color choices or the user’s favorite JPEG image uploaded from a USB device.

Selectable Clock Design
Now the center clock indication has three options –analog clock face, digital, and none. Choose one to your liking or depending on the combination with uploaded wallpaper.

Space Saving Installation with a Single DIN Rear Chassis
The rear chassis is designed with single-DIN dimensions that give enough room under the radio for cable harnesses, steering wheel control integration boxes, etc. This also provides the ability to install the radio in vehicles that may have obstructions behind the radio mounting area.

USB Type-C® Compatible
USB Type-C® (Hi-speed) compatible reversible connection interface ensures safe and easy plug-in, while it can carry 5V 3.0A maximum current for updated smartphone connectivity.3

3-pre out Terminals for Your Future System
For future expandability, the 3-pre out connectivity allows you to build a full acoustic system including a subwoofer, a mono amplifier and a 4-channel amplifier for even louder and more powerful sound reproduction.

Rear View Camera Ready with Adjustable Parking Guidelines
You can see the image of a connected rear view camera when you shift the vehicle’s transmission lever to the R(Reverse) position or tap the Rear Camera icon in the home screen.

iDatalink® Maestro® Compatible
iDatalink® Maestro® connects your vehicle’s onboard computer with car audio, making it work as a customized display for your car’s factory-equipped functions and features. It provides a seamless interface with factory infotainment and vehicle information such as air conditioning, performance and safety. Simply connect an iDatalink® Maestro® RR / RR2 by Automotive Data Solutions. It’s a new way to connect car audio to your vehicle while retaining and improving the functions of the original equipment.4

SiriusXM Radio Ready with Enhanced Interface
Connect your SiriusXM® Radio satellite tuner (not supplied) to enjoy commercial-free music, sports, news and entertainment. The newly designed user interface now includes station logo indication to ensure more intuitive operation than ever.5

Sound Customization
The built-in DSP offers sound processing and time alignment -down to a remarkable 1cm for each of the 5 addressable channels (4 speakers + subwoofer via pre-out). A 14-band EQ lets you adjust the overall sound to your music or taste. Together with the 3-zone crossover, you can dial in the perfect match of front, rear and subwoofers.

LDAC for Exceptional Sound Quality
Enjoy the convenience of Bluetooth® wireless audio and exceptional sound quality thanks to LDAC. Connect compatible devices to stream audio at 96 kHz / 24-bit sampling with bitrates up to 3x higher (990 kbps) than conventional Bluetooth®.

FLAC Audio File Compatible
FLAC -Free Lossless Audio Codec, is an audio format similar to MP3, but lossless, meaning audio signals are compressed without any loss in quality.
Now you can play back FLAC files with up to 24-bit depth and sampling frequency at 384 kHz.6

Sony A/V Receiver Audio Playback Specifications
The latest Sony design platform realizes playback compatibility with various audio files recorded in higher sampling frequency and bit depth. While its digital signal processing in below models can commonly handle high quality codecs including FLAC, WAV, ALAC, and DSF/DSDIFF, compatible file property in detail and guaranteed frequency response differ between the Mobile ES Series and regular products.
When it comes to Hi-Res Audio certification that requires frequency response higher than 40 kHz, only the XAV-9500ES and XAV-9000ES can be promoted with Hi-Res Audio logos.

Environment in Mind
Sony’s products are not only designed to be stylish but also with the environment in mind. For the individual packaging of the XAV-AX3700, up to 90% of the cushions are made of paper materials, and compared to the prior model, printed information has been carefully considered for simplicity and length to reduce printer ink usage by approximately 80%, reflecting Sony’s commitment to reducing environmental impact.
