READ CAREFULLY BEFORE INSTALLING FIXTURE. RETAIN THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
RAB fi xtures must be wired in accordance with the National Electrical Code and all applicable local codes. Proper grounding is required for safety. THIS PRODUCT MUST BE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE APPLICABLE INSTALLATION CODE BY A PERSON FAMILIAR WITH THE CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF THE PRODUCT AND THE HAZARDS INVOLVED.
WARNING : Make certain power is OFF before installing or maintaining fi xture. No user serviceable parts inside.

HOOK MOUNTING

  1. Screw the Hook into the Fixture, tighten and fi x it (Fig. 1).
  2. Hang the Fixture on the Ceiling Hook or chain (Fig. 2).
  3. After installation, connect the wire of the fi xture to the mains. Use appropriate UL approved wire connectors as required by code to complete wiring.

CEILING MOUNTING

(WITH ACCESSORY KIT)

  1. Mark with a pen or sharp tool on the mounting surface and drill.
  2. Fix Screws into the holes with a hammer.
  3. Align the Bracket Holes with Screw Holes (Fig. 3), push the Fixture to one side, and tighten Screws.
  4. After installation, connect the wire of the fi xture to the mains. Use appropriate UL approved wire connectors as required by code to complete wiring. By adjusting the bracket screws, users can adjust 50° to the left or right vertically (Fig. 4).

PENDANT MOUNTING

(WITH ACCESSORY KIT)

  1. Unscrew the Nuts on 1/2” NTP (Fig. 5).
  2. Insert 1/2” NTP stem into the Bracket Hole and re-screw the Nuts (Fig. 6).
  3. After installation, connect the wire of the fi xture to the mains. Use appropriate UL approved wire connectors as required by code to complete wiring. By adjusting the bracket screws, users can adjust 50° to the left or right vertically (Fig. 4).

WIRING

RISK OF FIRE. Universal voltage driver permits operation at 120V through 277V, 50 or 60 Hz. Units ordered with /480V suffi x are 480V, 50 or 60Hz. Drop down supply wires must be at least 9” long to allow fi xture removal. For 0-10V dimming follow wiring directions as shown in Fig. 7. For non-dimming (on/o˛ ), Electronic Low Voltage (ELV) and TRIAC dimming follow the wiring directions as shown in Fig.8.

FIELD-ADJUSTABLE CCT & WATTAGE

(120˝277V ONLY)

  1. The fi xture has 3 selectable CCTs and 3 wattages. To access, remove the waterproof gasket, adjust the CCT and Power switches as needed (Fig. 9).
    Factory settings:
    H17: 150W and 4000K
    H17XL: 240W and 4000K

MOTION SENSOR INSTALLATION

(PURCHASED SEPARATELY)

  1. Unscrew the 1/2” Knockout out with a screwdriver and screw the Sensor Kit on (Fig. 10).

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

CAUTION: Be sure fi xture temperature is cool enough to touch. Do not clean or maintain while fi xture is energized.

  1. Do not open fi xture to clean the LED. Do not touch the LED.
  2. Do not touch refl ector, lens or trim cone.
  3. Do not clean any fi xture surface with wood-base cleaning material such as paper towels or tissues.

TROUBLESHOOTING

  1. Check that the line voltage at the fi xture is correct. Refer to wiring directions.
  2. Is the fi xture grounded properly?
