SUNGROW SG2.0RS-S 1 Phase String Inverter

Product Information: 1-phase String Inverter

The 1-phase string inverter is a device designed for converting DC (direct current) power generated by solar panels into AC (alternating current) power for use in residential or commercial applications. It is a reliable and efficient solution for maximizing the power output of solar energy systems.

Installation Requirements

  • Applicable to: 1-phase string inverters
  • Location Requirements: Choose a suitable mounting location that ensures safe operation, long service life, and optimal performance.
  • Carrier Requirements: The concrete wall where the inverter will be mounted should be able to withstand a force four times the weight of the inverter. It should also be suitable for the dimensions of the inverter.
  • Angle Requirements: Install the inverter vertically. Do not install it horizontally, or at forward/backward tilt, side tilt, or upside down.
  • Clearance Requirements: Provide enough clearance around the inverter to ensure proper heat dissipation. If multiple inverters are being installed, specific clearance between them should be reserved.

Please refer to the user manual for more detailed information. The user manual is intended for professional technicians who are responsible for the installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of inverters. It also serves as a resource for users who need to check inverter parameters. It is important that the inverter is only installed by professional technicians who meet the following requirements

  • Have expertise in solar energy systems and inverter installation.
  • Are familiar with local electrical codes and regulations.
  • Understand the safety precautions and procedures outlined in the user manual.

For any further assistance, please consult the user manual or contact our customer support.

Installation requirements

  • Applicable to : 1-phase string inverters

Location Requirements
Select an optimal mounting location for safe operation, long service life and expected performance.

  • The inverter with protection rating IP65 can be installed both indoors and outdoors.
  • Install the inverter in a convenient place for electrical connection, operation and maintenance

Environment Requirements

  • The installation environment must be free of inflammable or explosive materials.
  • The location should be not accessible to children.
  • The ambient temperature and relative humidity must meet the following requirements.
  • Avoid direct exposure to sun, rain and snow.
  • The inverter should be well ventilated. Ensure air circulation.
  • Never install the inverter in living areas. The inverter will generate noise during operation, affecting daily life.
