**What’s in the box?

MAP Civic Type R Oil cooler mounting bracket (Upper and Lower)
(1) MAP Civic Type R Oil cooler line kit (2 lines)
(2) -8AN to -10ORB Fittings
(2) 1/8NPT Alen Plug
(2) -8AN to 1/8” NPT Adapters
(1) MAP Oil Filter Adapter Plate
(1) Setrab Oil Cooler -
Setrab Oil Cooler to -10AN Fittings
(8) M6x1.0x16 Hex Head Bolts
(8) M6x1.0 Hex Nuts
(4) M6 Threaded Plates
(4) M6 Rubber isolators
Tools needed
You will need:
Push pin tool
10mm socket (3/8ths)
3/8ths ratchet
24mm socket
Step 1
Place the vehicle on a lift or jack stands
Step 2
Remove front bumper
Step 3
Remove 4 bolts holding the AC condenser in place
Step 4
Assemble MAP FK8 Type R oil cooler as pictured, ensure you have rubber
isolators on both sides of the brackets
Step 5
Next, attach MAP FK8 Type R oil cooler to the vehicle by securing it to the
radiator condenser, using the 4 10mm bolts you removed earlier.
Step 6
Remove engine oil filter
Step 7
Install included oil sandwich, clock the inlet, and outlet as pictured.
Tighten to (ftlbs) and reinstall the oil filter when your finished
Step 8
Thread AN Lines onto the oil cooler, the longer line goes on the driver’s side
and the shorter line will go to the passenger. Route as pictured and thread
onto the oil sandwich plate, once all lines are in place, tighten all fittings
and hose ends.
Step 9
Add 1 qt of oil, start checking for leaks and adjust oil level if needed
Step 10
Reinstall bumper
