- Valve Cover Press in fitting Valve cover screw in fitting
- Slip on filter
- Oil Drain Kit (Optional)
Tools needed
You will need
- Vice Grips
- 23mm Socket
- 10mm Socket
- 8mm Socket
- Ratchet
- 10 AN Wrench
- 6mm Allen
- Pliers
- Body panel clip remover
- Dead blow hammer
- Small piece of wood to hammer on
Step 1A
- A-B – Remove engine cover and Cooling Plate
Step 1B
- A-B – Remove engine cover and Cooling Plate
Step 2
- Remove upper intercooler pipe
Step 3
- Remove intake manifold to valve cover pcv hose
Step 4
- Remove intake to valve cover pcv hose
Step 5
- Remove intake to valve cover pcv hose
- Step 6
- Remove intake to valve cover pcv hose
Step 7
- Remove intake to valve cover pcv hose
Step 8A
- A-B – Press in included -10an fitting into the valve cover by lightly hammering it with a rubber hammer, place a small piece of wood over the fitting to protect it if need be
Step 8B
- A-B – Press in included -10an fitting into the valve cover by lightly hammering it with a rubber hammer, place a small piece of wood over the fitting to protect it if need be
Step 8P1
- 8.P1. install one half of the included MAP plastic valve cover fitting onto the valve cover as pictured. It should fit snugly on the factory barb
Step 8P2
- 8.P2. install second half of MAP plastic valve cover fitting by threading it on to the fitting you installed on step P1. snug the 2 halves together
Step 9
- Remove factory coolant overflow

A-B – Remove overflow bracket

A-B – Remove overflow bracket
Step 11 -
Install Map catch can into place, securing with the factory bolt hole used for the factory over-flow. The kit includes a nylon nut that secures underneath to prevent the bolt from coming loose during heavily spirited driving or large amounts of vibrations
Step 12A -
A-B – Route and attach AN lines as pictured, be sure to cap the open vacuum port on intake manifold and intake with included caps
Step 12B -
A-B – Route and attach AN lines as pictured, be sure to cap the open vacuum port on intake manifold and intake with included caps
Step 13A -
A-B – Run rubber coolant overflow line to radiator
Step 13B -
A-B – Run rubber coolant overflow line to adiator
Step 14A -
A-B Remove cap for the overflow and the overflow level indicator, fill until the bobber reaches half full, and reinstall cap
Step 14B -
A-B Remove cap for the overflow and the overflow level indicator, fill until the bobber reaches half full, and reinstall cap
Step 15

Install included MAP blowdown coolant cap onto your catch can
Step 16 -
Attach a blow-down tube to the frame rail with the included P clamp.
