MAPerformance Civic X MAP Front Pipe

What’s in the box?

• 1 – MAP Front Pipe
• 1 – 2.5” V-Band Clamp
• 1 – Front Gasket
• 1 – Rear Gasket

Tools needed

You will need:

• Trim tool
• 5mm allen
• 10mm socket
• 13mm socket
• 14mm socket
• 3/8ths Ratchet

Install Instructions

Step 1
Remove splash shield (trim tool, 10mm and 5mm allen)

Step 2
Remove 3 downpipe nuts (the studs may pull out, this is fine)

Step 3
Remove 3 front pipe to cat back nuts

Step 4
Remove front pipe from hanger

Step 5
Remove 6 10mm bolts holding the heat shield on and slide it back

Step 6
Lift the stock front pipe up and out

Step 7
Install included O’ring gasket onto the MAP front pipe

Step 8
Remove rubber hanger off your old front pipe and install it onto your new front pipe use of silicone grease will make this much easier

Step 9
Slide the front half of the front pipe into place and install it on the hanger

Step 10
Reinstall nuts onto front pipe to downpipe flange

Step 11
Put v-band clamp in place on front pipe

Step 12
Install rear section to front pipe, secure it LOOSELY with the vband clamp

Step 13
Clock the front pipe as needed so the 3 bolt flange lines up with the catback

Step 14
Install included 3 bolt gasket and hardware, secure the front pipe to the catback

Step 15
Tighten up the intermediate v band clamp securing the 2 ends of the front pipe together  (13mm)

Step 16
Reinstall heat shield

Step 17
Startup and check for leaks, once satisfied reinstall splash shield
