1. INTENDED USE
The smartphone holder for cars serves to attach cell phones or navigation devices to the rear-view mirror in cars. This device is not designed to be used by children or persons with limited mental abilities or without experience and/or lack of required specialist knowledge. Keep children away from the device. The device is not designated for commercial use. Intended use also includes following all the information in this manual, especially following the safety instructions. Any other utilisation is considered to be contrary to the intended purpose and may lead to material damage or personal injuries. EAL GmbH assumes no liability for damage resulting from improper use.

4. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
- The warning triangle sign indicates all instructions which are important for safety. Always follow these otherwise you could injure yourself or damage the device.
- Children may not play with the device.
- Cleaning and user maintenance may not be carried out by children without supervision.
- Do not treat packaging material carelessly. It may become a dangerous plaything for children!
- Only use this product for its designated purpose!
- Attach the smartphone holder for cars and your smartphone in your vehicle in a way that does not impede your vision or your movements. This also applies to cables that care connected to your device.
- The smartphone holder for cars and the connecting cables for your device are not located near your airbag. Check your vehicle manual or ask a car workshop where the airbags are tted in your vehicle.
- Before driving o , check that the holder and the mobile phone are attached tightly and securely and cannot come loose when the car is driving.
- Do not manipulate or disassemble the device!
- For your own safety, only use accessories and spare parts that are stated in these instructions or that are recommended by the manufacturer!
5. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

MOUNTING THE SMARTPHONE HOLDER
Hang the upper attachment arms (position 1 in the overview) of the smartphone holder for cars over the rear-view mirror from the rear side. Pull the lower attachment arms (position 3 in the overview) out of the smartphone holder so that they can surround the rear-view mirror. Align the smartphone holder. Press the holding bracket (position 2 in the overview) right against the rear- view mirror.
FITTING THE SMARTPHONE INTO THE HOLDER
Pull the clamping jaw (position 7 in the overview) of the smartphone holder (position 6 in the overview) out and place your smartphone between the clamping jaws. Release the extended clamping jaw again. To align your smartphone, release the knurled nut (position 4 in the overview) to adjust the swing arm (position 5 in the overview). Also, your can further adjust the smartphone holder (position 6 in the overview) by releasing the union nut of the ball joint (position 8 in the overview).
6. MAINTENANCE AND CARE
The smartphone holder for cars is maintenance-free when used in accordance with the intended purpose. Clean the smartphone holder for cars with a soft, dry cloth only. Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents or solvent-based cleaners.
7. INFORMATION ON ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Dispose of the smartphone holder for cars in accordance with local regulations.
