Wiring Diagram

Wiring Method

Thread all the wires from the battery’s positive pole through the sensor ring (check the wiring diagram above), including charge controller-battery cable, inverter/load-battery cable.(Note: It is recommended to empty the battery energy before the first connection)

Wiring the hall sensor with the display, there is one pair of 2.5m monitor -hall sensor cable, the yellow cable is RS485 A, the white cable is RS485 B, and the RS485 of the hall sensor should be connected to the corresponding ports on display.
Connect the hall sensor with battery, the red cable is the power supply positive cable, the black cable is the power supply negative cable.
Connect the display with battery by using the pair of 2.5m monitor – battery cable. (The power supply of the display screen can be disconnected at any time, does not affect the data acquisition).
After installation, if the indicator flashes blue and green on the top-right of the interface, it means the data communication is successful;
If the indicator only shows blue on the top-right of the interface, it means the data commu-nication is not successful, please check your wirings then.

Display Pages

Long press the power button for 2 seconds to power on.

This chart shows the trend of specific parameter indicators in a period of time.
You can select three monitoring items from the U-T monitoring items and display them with red, yellow, and blue curves respectively. The curve data range is 0-200

Setting Page and PARAME page

Press the “Back” button to enter the Page Selection Menu.

ECO-WORTHY-RS485-Upgraded-200A-Battery-Monitor-6

In this Page, press the four buttons to switch between different display pages. Drag the sliders to adjust the screen’s automatic sleep time (0s means never sleep) and backlight brightness (20-100%).

The “PARAME” page requires a password to unlock. The default password is “2016”. Press the blank area type in the passwords.

Parameter Setting Page

ECO-WORTHY-RS485-Upgraded-200A-Battery-Monitor-8

The buttons in the upper bar are “Restore Default”, “Write and Record Parame- ter”,“Read Parameter”, and enter the “Page Selection Menu”
The blue column lists the basic battery parameters. You can change the preset monitoring values: address, nominal battery capacity, full battery voltage, zero battery voltage (empty voltage), display auto sleep countdown time, and backlight brightness.
Red column lists alarm parameters, you can change the alarm values: over- voltage, low-voltage, over-current, low-capacity, high-temperature
Green column lists present parameter values. If a monitoring parameter is found to be inaccurate on the normal or simple page, enter an accurate value to correct it. The data that can be adjusted are voltage, current, temperature, current zeroing, and product model

How to modify specific parameter values:
Press the “Read parameter” button, read the current value —-press the corresponding white block, enter the modified value —-press the “Write parameter” button to save the value
The two buttons at the bottom are set the present monitoring data to full or clear the data. When pressed, the parameters of the monitoring page will change accordingly.

Settings before first use:

  1. Check the current
When the wiring are correctly done, if the current parameter is not zero when it is not charged or discharged, then you need to press the zero button at the PARAME page to clear the current current parameter.

  2. Set the battery parameters
Set the battery “Nominal Capacity” and “Full Capacity Voltage” in the blue column of “Parameter Setting Page”.
(Note: “Full Capacity Voltage” is recommended to be the highest voltage displayed when the battery is fully charged and the charger is not unplugged yet.)

  3. Charge the battery to full
After connecting the cable and setting the parameters, the monitoring page will not show the battery capacity immediately. At this time, the battery capacity is still empty, and you need to charge the battery to full for once so that the monitor could display the power normally.

Maintenance

  1. The voltage and current can not exceed the rated range of the monitor, otherwise it will be damaged.
  2. Positive and negative poles can not be connected in reverse, or the measurement will be incorrect.
  3. Place the monitor in a dry and cool environment, operating temperature is -10 ~ 50℃, storage temperature is -20 ~ 70℃.
  4. Do not try to disassemble the monitor, damage to the case will lead to warranty failure. There is no module inside this monitor that can be repaired by the users.
  5. When the monitor is working, please do not move the monitor violently to avoid irrepa-rable damage to the internal circuit.
