SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS
Read the instructions carefully before use and save them for future reference.
- FOR INDOOR USE ONLY.
- To be installed in a ceiling, out of reach.
- Do not use in bathrooms, or laundry rooms etc.
- The electrical installation must comply with local regulations. Consult an authorised electrician if in doubt. Disconnect the power supply before electrical installation.
- Do not insert or remove bulbs when the set is connected to the mains supply.
- Do not use in bathrooms, or laundry rooms etc.
- Do not use bulbs with more than the permitted output (see type plate) – risk of overheating.
- The product gets hot when in use. Leave the product switched off for at least 10 minutes before adjusting, cleaning or changing a bulb, otherwise there is a risk of burn injuries.
- Handle glass parts with care. Clean with a dry cloth. Never use liquids or abrasive detergents.
- No object must be placed closer than 0.5 m to the product.
- Never modify the product in any way. Modifications can result in serious personal injury and will invalidate the warranty.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
New installations and extensions to existing systems should always be carried
out by an authorised electrician. If you have the necessary experience and
knowledge
(otherwise contact an electrician), you can replace power switches and wall
sockets, fit plugs, extension cords and light sockets. Incorrect installation
can result in fatal injury and the risk of fire.

INSTALLATION
PREPARATIONS
- Check that there are no concealed electric cables or conduits where the installation is to be carried out.
- Remove all the packaging material and check that all the parts are included. Follow these instructions when installing.
- Check that all screw unions and electrical connections are tightened before use. The product can be connected to a dimmer.
- Contact an authorised electrician for advice on a suitable type of dimmer.

- Slotted and crosshead screwdrivers.
- Drill and drills.
- Stripping pliers for electric wires.
