BEEPER thanks you for your purchase and invites you, before using your Personal Motorized Displacement Vehicle (EDPM), to familiarize yourself with the precautions for use and safety instructions. The use of your scooter is subject to the legislation in force in your country. Please check with the relevant authorities. Any recommendation (or lack of recommendation) in this manual can in no way be assimilated to a transposition of the legislation in force. IXIT Beeper declines all responsibility in the event of bodily injury and material damage attributable to use of the product that does not comply with the instructions for use.

  • The use of a scooter is prohibited for children under 12 years old.
  • The use of your scooter is not suitable for pregnant women and children under 16 years old.
  • This device can be used by children from 12 years of age under the supervision of an adult, and by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities or a lack of experience and knowledge provided they are properly supervised or that they have received prior instructions from a person responsible for their safety regarding the safe use of the appliance and that the risks involved have been apprehended.
  • Children must not play with the device.
  • Check regularly that your scooter is in good condition, read the manual carefully and make sure you understand all the information about the product before using it.
  • Cleaning and maintenance of the device by the user must not be made by children.
  • Before each use, check the general condition of your scooter (condition of tires, brakes, battery, lights, etc.)
  • Your scooter contains parts subject to heating, such as the brake disc and the wheels. It is forbidden to touch these elements within an hour of using your scooter.
  • It is strongly recommended that all users wear adequate protection when using your scooter to avoid personal injury in the event of a fall: shoes, helmet, gloves, knee pads, elbow pads.
  • Check that your lights, brakes and all equipment are functional.
  • Do not use your scooter in crowded places the first time you use it. An adaptation time is necessary to master the product.
  • Use on public roads is regulated. You must take the cycle paths as a priority. In the absence of these, you can drive exclusively on roads limited to 50 km / h. Outside the built-up area, you can only drive on greenways and cycle paths.
  • On sidewalks, pedestrian areas, buildings or any other place dedicated to pedestrians, you must move with your scooter in hand.
  • Check with the local authorities to find out about any traffic restrictions.
  • Please respect the markings on the ground, the signs, as well as the highway code. Allow pedestrians to pass when riding your scooter.
  • Do not hesitate to signal your presence to other users via the buzzer (bell).
  • When riding with other people, keep a safety distance of at least 6 meters between you to reduce the risk of collisions.
  • Adapt your speed (and your safety distance) according to your environment so that you can stop your scooter at any time.
  • Do not start or stop abruptly.
  • Make sure you are always visible to everyone, turn on your lights and wear a vest (or other retro reflective gear) each time you use your scooter.
  • Always keep your hands on the handlebars when using your scooter. The use of the Smartphone or any other object while driving is prohibited. The use of earphones or headphones is prohibited.
  • It is forbidden to circulate with several people on your scooter.
  • The maximum weight supported by the scooter is 120Kg.
  • Failure to follow these weight recommendations impairs the acceleration and braking performance of your scooter and may endanger you by reducing its ability to safely decelerate or stop.
  • Keep your body balanced when making turns to avoid falling from shifting center of gravity or high speeds.
  • Always keep your feet on the platform when riding.
  • Do not jump obstacles with your scooter.
  • Do not jump on the platform of your scooter.
  • Avoid driving on roads littered with scattered objects, such as branches, litter or small stones.
  • Do not ride your scooter on roads with obstacles or on slippery roads where there is a risk of loss of grip, such as on snow, ice or water. This could cause loss of adhesion and lead to personal injury and property damage.
  • Avoid driving on steep slopes. Do not use your scooter on steep inclines. Gearing up speed on a too steep descent can cause the motors and battery to overheat and reduce your ability to safely brake.
  • Take all the necessary safety measures when learning to use your scooter. Please note that the use of this product may result in injury which could cause death from loss of control, collisions or falls.
  • If a traffic accident occurs while riding your scooter, remain calm, secure the area and wait for the competent personnel who will handle the situation in a responsible and legal manner.
  • Do not use your scooter in an unsafe environment, ie in places where there are flammable products, steam, liquids, dust or fibers that could cause a fire or an explosion.
  • The rear mudguard must not be used as a brake. You could damage your scooter without being able to lower your speed.
  • Using your scooter while under the influence of alcohol and / or drugs is prohibited.
    Warning: For any use of an EDPM, you must have civil liability insurance.

BATTERY MAINTENANCE

  • Before first use, please charge your battery to the maximum.
  • Please recharge your battery after each use.
  • Please recharge your battery before it is completely discharged.
  • To have complete satisfaction with your vehicle, make sure it is loaded to at least 50%.
  • If you store your vehicle, please ensure that the battery is fully charged.
  • Please do not exceed 30 days without recharging your battery.
  • Please use the supplied charger that matches your vehicle’s battery.
  • Please do not store your vehicle at a temperature below 0 ° C or in direct sunlight.
  • The battery should be kept out of the reach of children. If any battery components are swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
  • Improper charging, damage, humidity or overheating may emit smoke, explode, cause a strong heat source or start a fire on the battery.
  • Do not leave your vehicle to charge unattended.
  • Do not use the battery if it is damaged, then please replace it. To reduce the risk of fire or burns, do not throw it away with household garbage. In order to preserve the environment, the battery must be deposited at the collection points in force.

CHARGER MAINTENANCE

  • The charger works only with the dedicated AC adapter. Using any other adapter may damage the product.
  • The adapter must be plugged into a household outlet and easily accessible.
  • Do not cover, expose to a source of heat or humidity and use in a ventilated area.
  • Please unplug your charger if it is not in use.
  • Do not use your charger if it is damaged.
  • The external flexible cable of this transformer cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged, the transformer should be scrapped.
  • Never connect and disconnect the battery connection terminals while the power cable is still connected to the mains. Always remove the plug from the socket first.
  • Do not store your mains charger in low temperature areas. When the device returns to its normal temperature, moisture can form inside the device and damage the electronic circuits.
  • Unplug the charger during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time to avoid damage.

  • Press the ON / OFF button on the display of your scooter for a few seconds to turn it on or off
  • To change speed, short press the “M” button

  • Press the ON/OFF button located on the handlebar of your scooter for 3 seconds to turn the display on or off
  • To change speed, briefly press the + or – button
  • Briefly press the ON/OFF button to switch on the lights
  • Press the “+” button for 3 seconds to activate or deactivate the double motor (only available for models refs. FX11-7 and FX11-10)

FIRST STEPS

  1. Press the ON / OFF button on your scooter for a few seconds.
  2. Place one foot on the platform, then kick-start your scooter with the other foot.
  3. When you have enough momentum, place the second foot on the platform.
  4. Select your speed and lightly press the accelerator.
  5. Press the accelerator to move forward.
  6. Apply the brakes to slow down.
  7.  Once your scooter has stopped, you can get off and turn it off.

REMOTE CONTROL (only ref. FX10)

  • Lock the scooter.
  • In the event of theft, the alarm sounds and the rear wheel locks
  • Unlock the scooter.
  • Activate the alarm remotely. Press again to stop the alarm
  • Double tap to turn on your scooter remotely. Press to turn off the scooter.

ASSEMBLY

Ref : FX11

  1. Unscrew the screw located on the top of the mast
  2. Remove the screw and the cap

  5. Retighten the various screws on each side of the handlebars

FOLDING & UNFOLDING

Warning

  • Folding and unfolding Beeper electric scooters can be difficult for the first few times.
  • Before folding your scooter, make sure that it is switched off.

  • Place one foot on the platform. With your left hand push the mast forward and with your right hand pull the folding handle towards you to fold the mast back onto the platform. You can fold up the handles of your scooter by pushing the blue bushings outward.

Ref : FX11

  • Place one foot on the platform. Lift the folding handle safety upwards, then with your left hand push the mast forward and with your right hand pull the folding handle towards you to fold the mast back onto the platform.
  • If you have difficulty folding your electric scooter, you can loosen the screw on the front of the folding mechanism (red arrow opposite). This screw is used to inflate or deflate by compression a tube. The more the tube is compressed the more difficult the folding will be, however be careful not to decompress the tube too much, it also helps to avoid play in the folding mechanism when using the scooter.

DISPLAY SETTINGS

You can configure certain options on your scooter via your display. Attention, these operations must be done with precaution because they affect the internal settings of the scooter.

Press ON / OFF and M at the same time. Once the menu displays P1, click on the ON / OFF button to change the parameter. To modify the data, press M.
P02: Distance unit
0: Kilometers
1: Miles
P04: Standby
0: The scooter never goes to sleep
From 1 to 60: In minutes, the time elapsed before the scooter goes to sleep
P09: Starting the scooter with or without impulse
0: Off
1: On
P12: Starting power from 0 to 5
0: Very low

2: Medium
3: Strong
4: Very strong
5: Powerful
P16: Cruise control
0: Off

To activate the option, keep the throttle trigger actuated at the same speed for 3 seconds,
an indicator light comes on to let you know that the regulator is on. To deactivate it, simply brake or accelerate.
The other parameters MUST NOT be modified under any circumstances, otherwise the complete configuration of the scooter may be disturbed.
Simultaneously press “+” and “-” to enter the settings. Briefly press “ON/OFF” to change function. Then perform short presses on “+” and “-” to adjust the settings. Once the changes have been made, press “+” and “-” simultaneously to exit the settings mode.
P02: Distance unit

1 = Start with an impulse (default choice)

0 = Cruise control OFF (default choice)
1 = Cruise control ON
Enter the menu, short press the “+” or “-” button, the value 00099 flashes, and the display returns to the main interface after long pressing the “+” button for 5 seconds. The setting is done successfully.
WARNING: The other parameters MUST NOT BE modified under any circumstances, otherwise the complete configuration of the scooter may be disturbed.

  • Your scooter can, in the event of an electronic problem, show you error codes on the display.
  • We tell you below what each error code refers to for your information.
  • Warning : If you disassemble your scooter on your own, it can no longer be taken under warranty.

CORRECT AND IMPROPER USES

Before using your electric scooter, please be aware of the appropriate and inappropriate uses. In fact, so that your product does not suffer damage or precarious wear and tear, we strongly advise you to respect the conditions detailed below.

MAINTENANCE

For your safety and that of those around you, maintenance points should be checked regularly on all our models of scooters.
Below is a table of the checks to be carried out:
