SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

BEEPER thanks you for your purchase and invites you, before using your Personal Displace- ment Vehicle (EDP), to familiarize yourself with the instructions for use and the various safety precautions.

  • Please use your EDP in accordance with road safety regulations and under optimal safety conditions. You are solely responsible for your conduct, IXIT Beeper accepts no responsibility.
  • For safe use of your EDP, please always be in full possession of your means and always wear the necessary protective equipment and an approved helmet. Please wear retro-reflective clothing or equipment for all traffic at night or when visibility is poor.
  • It is forbidden to use an EDP while wearing earphones or headphones as well as to carry a passenger.
  • Please note that the use of this product may result in injury which can cause death from loss of control, collisions or falls.
  • Do not use without training, at high speed, on rough terrain or on slopes. The use of your EDP is not recommended for children under 12 and prohibited for children under 8.
    Warning :
    For any use of an EDP, you must have liability insurance.
    Use of this product with a saddle is not authorized for use on public roads, it is reserved exclusively for use on private land.

USE OF THE BATTERY

Battery safety instructions
  • The battery should be kept out of the reach of children. If any battery components are swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
  • Before first use, please charge your battery to the maximum.
  • Please recharge your battery before it is completely discharged.
  • To have complete satisfaction with your vehicle, please ensure that it is loaded to at least 50%.
  • If you store your vehicle, please ensure that the battery is between 30 and 40% autonomy.
  • Please do not exceed 30 days without recharging your battery.
  • Please use the supplied charger that matches your vehicle’s battery.
  • Please do not store your vehicle below 0 ° C or in direct sunlight.
  • Improper charging, damage, humidity or overheating can emit smoke, explode, cause a strong heat source or start a fire on the battery.
  • Do not leave your vehicle to charge unattended.
  • Do not use the battery if the battery is damaged, then please replace it. To reduce the risk of fire or burns, do not dispose of it with household garbage. In order to preserve the environment, the battery must be deposited at the collection points in force.
Charging the battery

To keep your EDP working properly, we recommend that you charge the battery after each use. Here are some maintenance tips for your safety and to help optimize the life of your product.

The charger for your product is located on the left side of the battery (EXPLODED VIEW)
Step 1: Open the charger cover, take out the charging cable and take it out to a power supply.
Step 2: The charger light is red, indicating that it is charging; When the indicator light turns from red to green, it means the battery is fully charged.
Step 3: Remember to replace the cover on your charging cable to protect it from the elements.

  • Be sure to dry the product and the charging connector thoroughly before plugging in the charger.
  • The bars on the display show you the charge level of your vehicle.
  • The more the battery is used, the longer it can take to recharge.
  • Battery life varies depending on the temperature.
Charger usage precautions

Please read the following instructions carefully before each use of the charger:

  • The charger only works with the dedicated AC adapter. Using any other adapter may damage the product.
  • The adapter should be plugged into a normal, easily accessible household outlet.
  • Do not cover, expose to heat or moisture and use in a ventilated area.
  • Do not place other equipment on the charger.
  • Do not leave the charger plugged in when not in use.
  • Do not use the charger if it is damaged.
  • The external flexible cable of this transformer cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged, the transformer should be scrapped.
  • Never connect and disconnect the battery connection terminals while the power cable is still connected to the mains. Always remove the plug from the socket first.
  • Do not store your mains charger in low temperature areas. When the device returns to its normal temperature, moisture can form inside the device and damage the electronic circuits.
  • Unplug the charger during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time to avoid damage.

ASSEMBLY & LEARNING

Assembly of the balance bike

Upon receipt of your Beeper product, your product is already assembled, ready to operate. All you have to do is unfold it by following the instructions below:

To unfold your product, straighten the mast upwards and lock the folding system.

Warning

  • Folding and unfolding your product can be difficult during the first few uses.
  • Before folding your product, make sure that it is switched off.

Using the balance bike
  1. Install yourself on your product.
  2. Insert the key in the nemann and turn it a first time to switch on the ignition.
  3. Turn the key a second time to start the engine of your product and turn on your front and rear lights.
  4. Place one of your feet on the footrest and turn the throttle grip.
  5. Once you gain some speed, put the second foot on its footrest.
  6. Press the accelerator to move forward.
  7. Apply the brakes to slow down.
