EV Charger Mounting Bracket
Installation Instructions
Installing a bracket to a Leviton EVPED-2 pedestal to mount an EV320,
EV32W, EV48W, or EV48S charging station.
NOTE: Tools and hardware listed are not included.
REQUIRED TOOLS:
- TORX T-27 Security Screw
- Power Drill
- Drill Bit 21/64″
- Wrench 1/2″
- Hammer
- Center Punch
- Metal Exterior Paint with Rust Inhibitor
*REQUIRED HARDWARE:**
- 5/16 – 18 x 1/2″ HEX Head Bolt (4)
- 5/16 – 18 Nut (4)
- 5/16 ID x 3/4 OD Washer (4)
- Use Galvanized hardware
STEPS:
- If the pedestal has not been installed yet, it is recommended to start the bracket mount with the pedestal in the horizontal position.
- Position the bracket on the pedestal .5″ from the top, including the top cover (Figure 1).
- Center the bracket on the pedestal such that the left nd right side are equally spaced.
- Use tape to hold the bracket in lace and mark the position of the four holes in the bracket on the pedestal. Use a center punch to mark the center of the hole.
- Use a 21/64″ drill bit to drill the four acket oles into the pedestal.
- Use touch-up paint on raw drilled holes metal exterior paint with rust inhibitor).
- The bracket is fastened with four 5/16-18 x 1/2″ bolts and nuts.
- Insert the bolt from the inside through the pedestal and bracket. Install the washer with the nut on the outside.
- Use a wrench to hold the bolt from the nside when tightening.
- Place the EV Charging Station on the bracket by serting the top lip first, then aligning the side holes.
- Insert the side screws and hand tighten
- Installation complete!
