PELONIS PHTA1ABB Portable Quiet Cooling & Heating
Introduction
Only takes 3 seconds to heat up warmth for relatively small places, providing a comfortable and stable temperature. Has ceramic heating elements. Rated power up to 1500W. A thermostat that may be adjusted for the best heating temperature has a simple control dial. To warm the specified area, select High or Low heating with oscillation function. This electric heater is multipurpose and has two heating settings (High, Low ). In the summer, switch to the Fan Only setting to use this heater as a personal fan. The speed of the fan is simple to regulate. Utility device that combines a heater and fan.
The lightweight (2.72lbs) and built-in carry handle make it simple to move to any location or space. The desired indoor temperature can be controlled using the top control panel’s two rotating knobs. The fan heater is constructed from UL94 V0 cool touch ABS. Without the need for an adaptor or extension cord, a US standard socket can be plugged directly into an outlet. Safe use is guaranteed by the tip-over switch and overheating protection. Any Pelonis product you purchase comes with a 1-year manufacturer warranty.

OPERATION
- Place the heater on a firm, level surface free from obstructions, and at least 3 ft. (0.9m) away from any wall or combustible material.
- With the Power and Setting Control in the O position, plug the heater into a grounded 120V outlet. Always operate the heater in the upright position.
- To turn the heater on, while turning the Power and Setting Control to the desired position ( for 900W, for 1500w).
- When the room reaches a comfortable temperature, slowly turn the Thermostat Control counter-clockwise until the heater goes off. This is the point at which the thermostat setting equals the room temperature. At this setting, the thermostat will automatically tum the heater on and off to maintain this selected temperature.
- Turn the Power and Setting Control to O and unplug the heater when you finish using it.
RESET INSTRUCTIONS
If the unit shuts down please operate as follows.
- turn the unit off
- unplug unit wait 10 minutes
- plug in and turn on
FAN OPERATION
To use the unit as a cooling air circulator without heat, turn the power and setting control to .
IF YOUR HEATER FAILS TO OPERATE:
- Be sure it is plugged in and that the electrical outlet is working.
- Check for any obstruction. If you find an obstruction turn the heater OFF. Unplug the heater and wait at least ten minutes for it to cool. Carefully remove the obstruction. Plug the heater back in and restart it as described under OPERATION.
- If you still notice the same defect above mentioned, remove the plug from the socket and have the appliance serviced by authorized service personnel only.
SAFETY FEATURES
This heater is equipped with an automatic Safety Shutoff Switch for overheat protection, which is activated when the internal temperature exceeds normal operating temperatures. If this occurs, turn the heater to “OFF”. Unplug the heater and allow it to cool. Inspect and carefully remove any objects on or adjacent to the heater. Plug the heater back in and resume normal operation.
TIP-OVER SWITCH: This heater includes a Safety Tip-Over Protection Feature which will shut the heater off in case it is tipped over. If, at any time, the heater does tip over, put the heater back in the upright position. The heater will resume its normal operation.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
We recommend that the heater be cleaned at least once a month and before off- season storage.
- Turn the heater OFF and unplug it. Allow it to cool
- Use a dry cloth to clean the external surfaces of the heater.
DO NOT USE WATER, WAX, POLISH ORANY CHEMICAL SOLUTION.
- Clean your heater using the above-1mentioned steps, then pack the heater in its original container and store it in a cool dry place.
- This heater does not disassemble.
- The motor is factory lubricated for life, and will require no further lubrication.

Can you remove the filter and clean it?****

What is the difference between the phta1abb and the hc – 0179?****
I don’t know, but if both types of heaters are heating up my cold feet, then that’s good enough for me. It’s doing its job. It’s a small and compact heater to warm very small spaces.
Does it come with a Prop 65 cancer warning? If so, what is the risk of exposure to the consumer?****
No, it doesn’t.
Does the “on” indicator light go off when you turn off the heater? Or do you have to pull the plug out?****

In regards to your question, this unit needs to be plugged in to an electrical outlet.

In regards to your question, yes, the fan runs when using the heating option.

You can use your heater in an enclosed patio.
What is the high and low range of the thermostat?****
Max and Min are only text that is around the dial that controls the heat. I use a separate room thermometer, but haven’t yet correlated my readout with the dial pointer location.
Is it energy efficient****

I have no idea. I bought a different model and it is not cordless. 1500watts is not going to happen for cordless.
