SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • This product can be used by children from 8 years and upward sand by persons with physical, sensorial or mental disabilities, or persons who lack experience or knowledge, if they are supervised or receive instructions concerning the safe use of the product and understand the risk sinvolved with its use. Do not allow children to play with the product. Do not allow children to clean or maintain the product without supervision.

  • The product is only intended for household use.

  • Put the switch in the OFF position and pull out the plug when the product is not in use.

  • Do not run the power cord in front of the product.

  • The product must only be connected to a correctly installed and earthed power point. Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type plate.

  • Make sure to plug the plug firmly in the power point. Do not touch the power cord or the plug with wet hands.

  • Do not route the power cord under car pets etc. Place the power cord so that there is no risk of treading on it, or tripping over it.

  • Do not expose children to the flow of air from the product for long periods.

  • Only use the product in a well-ventilated area.

  • Do not place the product near walls or corners, where incoming or outgoing air can be blocked.

  • Do not put the product near curtains, or other flammable materials- firerisk.

  • Do not expose the product to vibrations, knocks or blows when in use.

  • The product is not intended to be controlled with an external timer or a separate remote control that can make the product start automatically.

  • Do not use longer than necessary
    extension cords. Always unwind the comp lete extension cord.

  • Do not connect other appliances to the same power outlet the product is using.

  • Never leave the product unattended when plugged in. Keep children and pets at a safe distance.

  • Never put the product in a vehicle that is moving or on any other surface where there is a risk of it tipping over.

  • Place the product where the air flow cannot be blocked by furniture or curtains, etc.

  • Do not use the product in exp losive environments, for example in the vicinity off lammable liquids, gas or dust.Do not place the product near a naked flame or other source of heat.

  • Do not attempt to dismantle or repair the product. Repairs should be carried out by qualified personnel or an authorised service centre.

  • A damaged cord or plug must be replaced by an authorised service centre or qualified person to ensure safe use.

  • Switch off the product immediately and pull out the plug in the event of any abnorma l noise, smell, smoke or other sign of a problem.

WARNING

  • Some parts of the product get very hot risk of burn injuries. Keep the product under careful supervision when it is used by, or near children or persons with functional disorders.
  • Do not put any foreign objects on the product.
  • Never poke your fingers or any other objects into the inlet or outlet openings.
  • Do not use the product near a bath, shower or swimming pool.
  • Do not cover the product,this can result in overheating.

DESCRIPTION

Portable heater fan in versatile format. The fan has two heating modes, adjustable thermostat and tip and overheating protection.

DESCRIPTION

USE

NOTE:

  • When the heater fan is used for the first time,or when it has not been used for sometime,it is normal for it to smell a little and emit fumes. This will soon stop.
  • The heater fan has a tilt switch.
    To activate the fan it must be placed on a level surface

THERMOSTAT

Turn the temperature dial clockwise until it clicks, this confirms that the thermostat has activated. Turn the thermostat dial to the required temperature setting, see section “Control of thermostat”.

Control of thermostat

When the ambient air has reached the required temperature, turn the thermostat slowly anticlockwise until the heater fan switches off and stop in this position. The thermostat will then maintain this temperature in the room.

FAN MODES

The control dial has 3 fan modes:

  • Fan only without heating ( )
  • Low output 1000 W (I)
  • High output 2000 W (II)

SWITCHING OFF

  1. Turn the control dial to the off position.
  2. Turn the temperature dial anticlockwise all the way.
  3. Pull out the plug and allow the product to cool before putting it away.

OVERHEATING PROTECTION

The overheating protection automatically switches off the product if it overheats as a result of incorrect use or if used in very warm conditions. When the product has cooled it can be used again.

MAINTENANCE

Switch off the product, pull out the plug, and wait until the product has cooled.

  • Clean the outside of the container with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive detergent or chemicals.
  • Store the product in a dry and clean place, protected from dust.

TROUBLESHOOTING
