Getting started

  1. Inserting the batteries/connecting the power supply
  2. Connect the power supply unit to the power supply unit socket on the back of the color weather station.
  3. Place 3xAAA batteries into the color weather station.
  4. Place 2xAAA batteries into the wireless weather sensor.
  5. Place or hang the sensor outdoors

Installing or Replacing Batteries
We recommend using high quality batteries for the best product performance. Heavy duty or rechargeable batteries are not recommended. The outdoor sensor requires lithium batteries in low temperature conditions. Cold temperatures can cause alkaline batteries to function improperly.

Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard, and/or rechargeable batteries.
Default settings

  1. Default time: 0:00 (Time zone: 00, Time form: 24H)
  2. Default date: 01/01 (Year: 2021, date form: D/M)
  3. Default week: FR (Language: GE, 7 languages can be selected)
  4. Weather forecast: Partly Sunny
  5. Default temperature: °C
  6. Barometer unit: Hpa
  7. Default alarm: AM 6:30, default snooze time: 5min.

The LCD display fully for 3 seconds when changing new battery or resetting, then with a sound BI into the normal state, after testing temperature and barometer ,receiving RF for 3 minutes.

Display / Keys Details

There are totally 7 keys for the alarm clock, they are included:
MEMERY, ALERT, ALARM, SNZ/LIGHT , DOWN, UP, MODE.

  1. MEMERY button
    a. Press the MEMERY button to display MAX/MIN temperature/humidity and Heat index/Dew point value. Display order: MAX temperature/humidity>MIN temperature/humidity> Dew point value> Heat index value.
    b. Under the MAX/MIN mode, press and hold the MEMERY button 3 seconds to clear the record of MAX/MIN temperature and humidity when display shows MAX or MIN temperature and humidity.

  2. ALERT button
    a. Press the ALERT button to turn on or turn off the alert.
    b. Under the normal mode, press and hold for 3 seconds enter alert setting mode.

  3. ALARM button
    a. Press the ALARM button to turn on or turn off the alarm1 and alarm2.
    b. Under the normal mode, press and hold for 3 seconds enter alarm setting mode.

  4. SNZ/LIGHT button
    a. Press the SNZ/LIGHT button to open backlight for 15 seconds (without adapter).
    b. Press to activate the snooze function when alarming
    c. Press the SNZ/LIGHT button button to turn on/off backlight (with adapter). There are three levels of backlight: HIGH>LOW>OFF.
    NOTE : If enter the RCC reception automatically or manually (with adapter), the backlight will automatically turn off. You can press the SNZ/LIGHT button to turn on the backlight for 15 seconds (the brightest mode), and it will automatically turn off after 15 seconds.

  5. DOWN button
    a. Press to decrease the setting value during setting.
    b. Press and hold 2 seconds button for fast adjust during settingmode.
    c. Under the normal display mode, press the DOWN button to select the channel.
    d. Under the normal display mode, press and hold to search RF.

  6. UP button
    a. Press to increase the setting value during setting.
    b. Press and hold 2 seconds button for fast adjust during setting mode.”

  7. MODE button
    a. Press and hold the MODE button to enter time setting, atmospheric pressure setting and weather pattern setting.
    Manually Setting the Time, Date & Units
    Press and hold down the “MODE” button for 3 seconds the 12/24 hour mode starts to flash, use “UP” and “DOWN” buttons to set the correct 12/24 hour mode.
    Press “MODE” button to confirm your setting, the hour display starts to flash, use “UP” and “DOWN” buttons to set the correct hour.
    Press “MODE” button to confirm your setting, the minute display starts to flash, use “UP” and “DOWN” buttons to set the correct minute.
    Press “MODE” button to confirm your setting, the Month and Date icon display starts to flash, use “UP” and “DOWN” buttons to set the date display on Month/Date or Date/Month Press “MODE” button to confirm your setting, the year display starts
    to flash, use “UP” and “DOWN” buttons to set the correct year.
    Press “MODE” button to confirm your setting, the month display starts to flash, use “UP” and “DOWN” buttons to set the correct month.
    Press “MODE” button to confirm your setting, the day display starts to flash, use “UP” and “DOWN” buttons to set the correct day.
    Press “MODE” button to confirm your setting, the language of the week display starts to flash, use “UP” and “DOWN” buttons to set the correct language of the week.
    Press “MODE” button to confirm your setting, the temperature unit display starts to flash, use “UP” and “DOWN” buttons to select the °C or °F.
    Press “MODE” button to confirm your setting, the barometer units start to flash, use “UP” and “DOWN” buttons set the correct units.
    Press “MODE” button to confirm your setting, the weather pattern display starts to flash, use “UP” and “DOWN” buttons to set the correct weather pattern.
    Press “MODE” button to confirm your setting and to end the setting procedures, enter the normal mode.
    NOTE: You will automatically exit settings mode if no buttons are pressed for 20 seconds. Enter settings mode again at any time by pressing and holding the MODE button for 3 seconds.

Setting the Alarm
Alarm setting mode

  • Under the standard mode, press ALARM to turn on or turn off the alarm1 and alarm2. The alarm icon or will appear to disappear.
  • Under the normal mode, press and hold the ALARM button for 3 seconds enter alarm setting mode. The setting order is Alarm1 Hour > Alarm1 Minute > Alarm1 Repeat > Alarm1 Snooze time> Alarm2 Hour > Alarm2 Minute > Alarm2 Repeat > Alarm2 Snooze. When Alarm Time hour and minute display of the alarm time starts to flash.
    Use the “UP” and “DOWN” buttons to set the required hour and minute.

NOTE : Three items can be set for alarm repeat :1. “M-F” : alarm will ring from Monday to Friday ;2. “S-S” : alarm will ring from Saturday to Sunday ;3. “M-F” and “S-S”: alarm will ring throughout the weekend.’

  • Press ALARM (or no key for 20 seconds) so exit and save the setting.
    Alarm and snooze

  • While the alarm is beeping, the alarm icon or will flash.

  • While the alarm is beeping, press the SNZ/LIGHT to active snooze.
    (Time is determined by setting snooze time) The corresponding alarm symbol is still displayed, and the snooze symbol flashes together.

  • To turn the alarm off, press any key other than SNZ/LIGHT to return to normal time mode.

Indoor / outdoor temperature and humidity

  1. Indoor temperature when below -9.9 °C & +14 °F display LL.L °C & °F; when higher than +50 °C & +122 °F display HH.H °C & °F.
  2. Outdoor temperature when below -40 °C & -40 °F display LL.L °C & °F; when higher than +60°C & +140 °F display HH.H °C & °F
  3. Temperature resolution: 0.1°C & °F.
  4. Humidity range: 20%-95%, display 20% when below 20% and display 95% when higher than 95%
  5. Humidity resolution: 1% RH

Accuracy

  1. Temperature accuracy:
    0°C ~ -40°C: ± 1°C
    -20°C ~ 0°C, 40°C ~ 65°C: ± 2°C
    32°F ~ 104°F: ±1.8°F
    -4°F ~ 32°F, 104°F ~ 149°F: ±3.6°F
  2. Humidity accuracy: +/- 5 % RH (@40%RH to 80%RH); +/- 8 % RH (Other range)

Temperature alert set

  1. In normal mode, press ALERT to open or close temperature alert function.
  2. In normal mode, press and hold the ALERT button for 2 seconds to set temperature alert function.
  3. The setting order is: outdoor temperature upper limit > outdoor temperature lower limit > indoor temperature upper limit > indoor temperature lower limit > exit.
  4. Press UP or DOWN button to change the value.

Temperature alert

  1. When outdoor temperature in -1°C ~ +2.9°C (+30.2°F ~ +37.3°F), the ice icon will flash, when the temperature out of the range, the icon will disappear

  Note : The ice alert not needs setting, as long as the temperature in the alert range, the icon will be displayed.

Displaying temperature/ humidity trend

The current indoor temperature/humidity and the temperature/ humidity trend (indoors) are shown in the LCD display.
After successfully connecting with the remote sensor, the weather station can display the remote temperature/ humidity and the temperature/ humidity trend (remote)
You may see the following displays:
The temperature / humidity is rising (temperature rises 1°C/1.8°F; humidity rises: 5%RH )
The temperature / humidity is remaining constant (temperature stays within 1°C/1.8°F; humidity stays within: 5%RH )
The temperature / humidity is falling (temperature drops 1°C/1.8°F; humidity drops: 5%RH )

Moon Phase
The moon phase column displays the moon phase level. The moon phase level is divided into 12 levels, as shown in the figure below:
(Please pay attention to the negative display effect, the full moon must be all lit.)

There are three levels of tide display:High>Medium>Low. The corresponding tide is displayed as follows: H M M L M M H M M L M M

Weather forecast

  1. The unit predicts weather condition of the next 12-24 hours based on the change of atmospheric pressure. The weather forecast is based on atmospheric pressure change and is about 70-75% correct.
    The following are icons that will show:Geevon W86122-0 Smart Color Weather
Station - sunny NOTE : After setting up, weather forecast readings should be disregarded for the next 24 hours. This will allow sufficient time for the weather station to collect data and therefore result in a more accurate forecast. Common to weather forecasting, absolute accuracy cannot be guaranteed. The weather forecasting feature is estimated to have an accuracy level of about 75% due to the varying areas the weather station has been designed for use in.

  2. The trend of barometer: Barometer rise or down at 1 HPA within 1 hours, the arrow will rise or down, if barometer rise or down less than 1 HPA, the arrow displays horizontal.

Indoor comfort display

: When indoor humidity is lower than 39%.
: When indoor humidity is between 40%~70%, at the same time the temperature is between 20°C ~28°C(68°F~82.4°F).
: When indoor humidity is higher than 71%.
: When indoor humidity is between 40%~70% but the temperature is not between 20°C ~28°C(68°F~82.4°F), the display will be blank.

Outdoor Sensor Function

a. Once the display unit has been set up and the channel synchronized with the outdoor sensor, the display unit will begin the registration process. It can take up to 3 minutes to complete the registration, where the display unit will search for an RF (Radio Frequency) signal from the outdoor sensor.
The outdoor sensor signal strength will show the connection strength to the outdoor sensor. If there are no bars or if bars are not showing at its maximum strength (5 bars) try placing the outdoor sensor or display unit elsewhere for better connection.
b. If the RF Signal was lost and not reconnected, the outdoor temperature and humidity level will begin to flash after 1 hour of lost connection. If no connection was found after 2 hours only a dotted line ‘ – – – ’ will be displayed in place of the temperature and humidity level.
Note: To manually restart the RF registration, press and hold the “DOWN” button for 3 seconds.
The display unit will now search for the RF signal for the next 3 minutes.

Setting the Channel

Setting the channel connection between the display unit and outdoor sensor:
a. To change the channel on the display unit between 1, 2, 3 &1-3 sequential display, press the “DOWN” button. The channel setting will display on the below of the outdoor temperature.
b. To change the channel option on the outdoor sensor open the battery compartment cover, on the upper right side is a button.
c. Always make sure the channel chosen on the display unit matches the channel option chosen on the outdoor sensor.
Low Battery Indicator
If the low battery indicator is displayed on the LCD for either the outdoor sensor or the display unit, immediately change the batteries to prevent disruptions in communications of the devices.
Placement of the Device
Proper placement of both the display unit and the outdoor sensor are critical to the accuracy and performance of this product.

DISPLAY UNIT PLACEMENT

Place the display unit in a dry area free of dirt and dust. Display unit stands up right for tabletop/countertop use.
Important Placement Guidelines
a. To ensure accurate temperature measurement, place units out of direct sunlight and away from any heat sources or vents.
b. Display unit and outdoor sensor must be within 200ft (60m) of each other.
c. To maximize wireless range, place units away from large metallic items, thick walls, metal surfaces, or other objects that may limit wireless communication.
d. To prevent wireless interference, place both units at least 3ft (0.9 m) away from electronic devices (TV, computer, microwave, radio, etc.
