USE

  • The term “power tool” in all warnings below refers to your mains-powered (corded) power tools.
  • Do not expose power tools to rain or moisture. There is a greater risk of electric shock if water gets into a power tool.
  • Be careful with the power cord. Never use the power cord to carry or pull the weed burner, or to pull out the plug from the mains socket. Keep the power cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges and moving parts.
  • Damaged or tangled power cords increase the risk of electric shock.
  • Use a mains connection protected by a residual current device (RCD). Using an RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.

  • Careless use of the weed burner can cause a fire.
  • Always check the plants that have been treated once more after use. The treatment can result in smouldering, which in time can burst into flame and burn out of control.
  • Pay special attention if the weed burner is used in the vicinity of flammable materials, liquids, gases or dust.
  • Do not point the jet of hot air at the same spot for a long time.
