Q: How do I ensure the battery pack is securely attached to the plate?
A: Balance the length of the shaft on both ends of the battery, tighten the nuts, and apply torque seal around the nut and threads of the shaft to secure it in place.
Q: What should I do if there is movement of the battery pack?
A: Any movement of the battery pack may cause damage to the board. Ensure that the battery pack is tightly secured in place to prevent any movement away from the plate.

Battery Replacement
- Using a Phillips screwdriver remove the four (4) screws from the bottom of the yellow case.
- Flip the case to top-side-up and carefully slide the complete meter out of the case.
- Unplug the BLACK and RED wires from the battery pack, then disconnect the two (2) YELLOW wires.
- Untighten the four (4) screws with plastic spacers located at the bottom of the aluminum plate and slowly move plate out of the main board.
- Remove the two (2) screws that are holding the battery pack in place.
- Replace the old battery pack with the new battery pack.
- Add the two (2) plastic spacers on to the top of the new battery pack, insert the screws into the aluminum plate and tighten very well. The battery pack cannot be allowed to move from the plate.
- Reconnect the wires to the board (see below images).
- Discard the old battery pack properly (recycle).
