Safety instructions

  • The following circumstances shall be forbidden to use:

  • On the scaffolding,climb ladders,use the instrument near the measuring idling machine or close to the no protection facilities equipment,or irresponsible action
  • Direct aim at the sun
  • Shake or shine the others on the dark place deliberately.
  • Measured on the place without safety facilities( such as on the road etc.)
  • Laser Rank
  • This product has on visible laser,it transmit in the front of the instrument This product is a second grade laser product.
  • Don’t look straight into the laser beam; don’t aim for others in the case of unnecessary.
  • Eyes will instinctively turn by visual or blink action to take self-preservation.
  • Warning! Through the optical lens(such as the eyepiece,telescope,etc) direct laser beam,will do harm to the eyes.

Start

  1. Install/exchange battery
  2. Open the battery cover.
  3. Put the battery in it correctly.
  4. Close the battery cover.

It should be exchange the battery when the LCD display the symbol ①. Use Alkaline battery Please take out the battery when you don’t use the meter for long time

Installation and removal of the hanger clip

  1. For the convenience of carrying, can be installed after the back clip, the instrument to hang on your belt. Aim the back clip plug instrument installation slot, you push hard on the go. As shown in figure (A).
  2.  When don’t need a clip, you must be as shown below, with the hand first press the point 1, in accordance with the direction arrow 2 at the same time, will pull back. The wrong operation will damage the clip figure (B).

The first operation and set
Powering ON/ Turning OFF (Buttons 1 & 6)
Long press button 1. about 1 second, instrument to open, short press this button once, laser open, press it again, measurement data, long press this button, the state of continuous measurement. Long press button 6. will power off, auto power off without operation for 45s. Clear button,cancel the last instruction or clear the display. Press memory button and clear button at the same time will clear all of records in the mode of memory scanning.

Plus/Minus/unit (Button 3)

PLUS : Short press this button,The first display line will be shining plus number. The next measuring value will be plus the former one.
MINUS : Again short press this button,The first display line will be shining minus number. The next measuring value will be minus the former one.

UNIT:
Long Press the key(+,- UNIT ),change the distance units until it displays the units which you required: m, in, ft, ft+in.

Datum /Backlight on/off

Button 5 : The position of measuring reference edge (please see the picture E). Long press this key ,will backlight on or off. The acquiescent reference edge of the instrument is the back porch.
Keys : The multifunctional stand,the leading edge and the back porch will be chosen respectively as the measuring reference edges. When you change the measuring reference edges,there will be different beeps to remind you. Press button 3, set to The benchmark. After restarting,the measuring reference edges will be back to the acquiescent reference edge (back porch).

Functions

Single distance measurement
Press key 1 to turn the laser on. Press it again, measurement beginning. The measuring data will be displayed on the screen promptly.

Continuous measurement
Long press this key, Continuous measurement, Max/Min value will be displayed. Continuous measurement can let the user to measure the Max/Min distance from one measuring point. For example,measuring the Diagonal distance (Max value) of the room or the horizontal distance (Min value). Press this key without moving until it appears beeps,that means the device enters into continuous measurement,Sweeping large area which  around the measurement target by laser (ex:corner).

  • Press button 1 to stop continuous measurement. The corresponding Max/Min values and the last measured data will be displayed on the main screen.

  • Press button 6, the instrument will exit the mode of continuous measurement automatically after you continuous measurement automatically after you

  • continuously measured for 100times.

  • Area/Volume/ Pythagorean theorem

  • Press button 2 once, icon ② will be displayed on the screen.

  • Press button 1 again to move on the first distance measuring (like length).

  • Press again button 1 will move on the second distance measuring (like width).

  • The area of the calculate result will be displayed on the main screen line. Very single measuring result will be display on the 2nd or third line.

  • The function of volume

  • Press button 2 two times, icon ③ will be display on the screen.

  • Press button 1 to move on the first distance measuring (like length).

  • Press button 1 to move on the second distance measuring (like width).

  • Press button 1 to move on the second distance measuring (like height).

  • The volume measuring result will be displayed on the main screen finally, previous 3 times result will be display on the first, second, third aided line.

  • Pythagorean measuring (picture G)

  • This model can be finished automatic calculation by the Pythagorean Law. This function was designed aim at measuring the place where we can reach.

  • For example: view at the map the height of F, have to 2 times measuring

  • The step is: Press icon ② 3 times, icon will be displayed on the screen icon will be display on the screen,the measured distance will be shining on the

  • screen.

  • Button: measuring the right-angle side distance of triangle.

  • When measuring it ,try to keep the device standard.

  • Button,measuring the bevel edge side distance of the triangle

  • If the measuring result meet the Pythagorean Law requirement (Bevel edge side˃right-angle side).

  • The height of indirect measuring will be display on the mainline. The mid measuring value will be display on the second,third line separately.

  • Press button ② four times, indirect measurement-use Pythagorean theorem two times to figure out the distance. Please see picture (H)

  • Again press two times: Press two times,the sign will show in the screen the distance will flicker in the screen.

  • Press ① Key : to measure the down distance,the first triangular hypotenuse. After finish the measurement, it will indicate to measure triangular square
    edge. keep the meter horizontal.

  • Press ① Key: to measure the horizontal distance,the public right angle for the two triangles.

  • After finish the measurement,it will measure the next edge.

  • Press ① Key: to measure the up distance,the second triangular hypotenuse.
    If it fits for Pythagorean theorem, the height will show in the screen also with those three measurements.

Memory data
④ Hold key: the last measurement will show in the main screen,and the 20 data will show in inverted order.
When scan,all measurements can be deleted by press the data hold key.
