Installation Instructions

Using a 10mm socket, remove the ABS line from the upper control
arm. -
Loosen the upper ball joint nut and unseat the ball joint taper
using a hammer on the knuckle.
Post Installation Instructions

Lightly grease the ball joints; do not over grease to avoid
ball joint boot failure. -
Have a qualified alignment center align the vehicle immediately
after installation.
FAQ
Q: How often should I check the hardware tightness after
installation?
A: All kit components must be retightened at 500 miles and then
every three thousand miles after installation. Periodically check
hardware for tightness.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Using a 10mm socket remove the ABS line from the upper control arm. See
Photo 1. 2. Loosen the upper ball joint nut. Then unseat the ball joint taper
using a hammer on the boss of the knuckle. See

Remove the ABS line bracket.
Loosen the upper ball joint nut.
3. Remove the nut from the ball joint and remove from the knuckle. See Photo 3. 4. Remove the nut from the upper control arm mount using a 19mm and a 22mm wrench. See Photo 4.

Loosen the ball joint taper.
Remove the upper control arm nut.
5. Pull the bolt from the upper control arm mount toward the front of the vehicle. See Photo 5. 6. Remove the upper control arm from the vehicle. See Photo 6.

Remove the upper control arm nut.
Remove the upper control arm.
7. Showing the Driver and Passengers control arm. See Photo 7. 8. Install the
bolt in the Drivers side control arm. Secure using the OE nut. Only snug the
nut, this will be tightened once
the vehicle is on the ground. See Photo 8.

Install the driver side control arm.
9. Connect the upper ball joint to the knuckle using the supplied hardware
with the upper control arm kit. See Photo 9. 10. Install the ABS bracket to
the upper control arm using the supplied hardware. See Photo 10. 11. Install
the wheels and tires and lower the vehicle to the ground. Roll the vehicle
forward and back to let the suspen-
sion settle. At this time tighten the upper control arm nut using a 19mm and a
22mm wrench.

POST INSTALLATION INSTRUCITONS
1. Lightly grease the ball joints. Do not over grease the ball joint as this
could cause ball joint boot failure. 2. Have a qualified alignment center
align the vehicle immediately. 3. Wheels must be retighten at 50 miles. 4. All
kit components must be retightened at 500 miles and then every three thousand
miles after installation. Periodi-
cally check hardware for tightness. 5. Install “Warning to Driver” decal on
sun visor. 6. On some vehicles the front lower skirting will need to be
trimmed if using certain wheel /tire combinations and with
heavy offset wheels. Trim only as needed.
