Precautions ta the Adapter and Electrical Power

  • Be sure to use power cords and AC adapters provided or approved by Gawfolk. The use of non-approved products may cause a fire or electric shock.
  • Do not touch the power plug or AC adapter with wet hands. Additionally, if the cord pin is wet or covered with dust, dry the power plug completely or wipe dust off before plugging in the cord. Otherwise, this may cause a fire or electric shock.
  • Make sure to completely insert the power cord into the AC adapter. If loosely connected, the poor connection may cause a fire or electric shock.
  • If water or any foreign substance goes inside the product (TV, monitor, power cord, or AC adapter), disconnect the power cord immediately and contact the service center. Otherwise, this may cause a fire or electric shock due to damage to the product.
  • When unplugging the power cord, always pull it by the plug. Do not bend the power cord with excessive force. The power line can be damaged, which may cause electric shock or fire.
  • Be careful not to step or place heavy objects (electronic appliances, clothing, etc.) on the power cord or AC adapter. Be careful not to damage the power cord or AC adapter with sharp objects.Damaged power cords may cause a fire or electric shock.
  • Never disassemble, repair or modify the power cord or AC adapter. This may cause a fire or electric shock.

  • Do not connect several extension cords, electrical appliances or electrical heaters to a single outlet. Use a power bar with a grounding terminal designed for exclusive use with the computer.A fire can break out due to overheating.
  • If you don’t intend to use the product for a long time, unplug the power cable from the product. Covering dust can cause a fire, or insulation deterioration can cause electric leakage or fire.

Precautions in Cleaning the Product

  1. Power off the product and PC.
  2. Disconnect the power cord from the product. Hold the power cable by the plug and do not touch the cable with wet hands. Otherwise, an electric shock may result.
  3. Wipe the product with a clean, soft and dry cloth. Do not apply a cleaning agent that contains alcohol, solvent, or surfactant to the product. Do not spray water or detergent directly on the product.

Picture

  • Brightness Adjustment
    • Press -/+ button to select Brightness, then press MENU button to confirm the choice and press -/+ button to adjust. This item can adjust the optical fiber output of the entire picture ,and it will affect the dark region of the picture.
  • Contrast Adjustment
    • Press -/+ button to select Contrast, and then press MENU button to confirm the choice and press -/+ button to adjust. This item can adjust the highlight intensity of the picture, but the shadow of the picture is invariable.
  • ECO Function
    • Press -/+ button to select ECO, and then press MENU button to confirm the choice and press -/+ button to choose.
  • ĐCR Function
    • Press -/+ button to select DCR, and then press MENU button to confirm the choice and press -/+ button to choose ON/OFF.

Image Setup

  • Horizontal Position Adjustment : Press -/+ button to select V .Position, and then press MENU button to confirm the choice and press – button image will move down. Press + button image will move up.
  • Vertical Position Adjustment : Press -/+ button to select V. Position, and then press MENU button to confirm the choice and press – button image will move down. Press + button image will move up.
  • Clock Temp Press -/+ button to select Clock, and then press MENU button to confirm the choice and press -/+ button to adjust. Phase Press -/+ button to select Phase, and then press MENU button to confirm the choice and press -/+ button to adjust.

  • Sharpness
    Press-/t button to select Sharpness, and then press MENU button to confirm the choice and press -/†button to adjust.

  • Mute
    Press -/+ button to select Mute, and then press MENU button to confirm the choice and press -/t button to choose On/Off.

  • Volume
    Press -/+ button to select Volume, and then press MENU button to confirm the choice and press -/+button to adjust.

MAKING CONNECTIONS
Make sure to use the supplied cable. Otherwise, this may cause the device to malfunction.

NOTE
Ta achieve the perfect effect refresh rate, but need the graphics and Interface (2.0 and above HD cable) support

WARNING

  • Do not press the screen for a prolonged time. This may cause image distortion.
  • Dont dissert l polio on the screen for a prolonged time. This may cause image retention.
  • The plugs of the cable may become hot during operation. Do not touch the plug for a long time.

If it is a desktop computer, the cable needs to be connected to the interface os the graphics card, not the interface of the motherboard.

Correct posture to use the product

  • Straighten your back
  • Allow a distance of 45 to 50cm between your eye and the screen, and look slightly downward at the screen.
  • Keep your eyes directly in front of the screen.
  • Adjust the angle so light does not reflect on the screen.
  • Keep your forearms perpendicular to your upper arms and level with the back of your hands.
  • Keep your elbows at about a right angle.
  • Adjust the height of the product so you can keep your knees bent at 90 degrees or more, your heels attached to the floor, and your arms lower than your heart.
  • Do the Eye exercises or blink frequently, then eye fatigue will be relieved.

INSTALLING THE MONITOR

The installation of the monitor and other operations need to be placed on a flat table In addition. you can just place the monitor in loam box and attach the monitor base to pr?ent the monitor from being accidentally dropped.

NOTE

  • Illustrations in this document represent typical procedures, so they may look different from the actual product.
  • Place the the product facing down on the Styrofoam (cushion) , If Styrofoam is unavailable, use a thick sitting mat.
  • Applying excessive force when tightening screws may cause damage to the monitor. Damage caused in this way will not be covered by the product warranty.
  • Do not carry the monitor upside down by just holding the base .This may cause the monitor to fall off the stand and could result in personal injury.
  • When lifting or moving the monitor ,do not touch the monitor screen .The force applied to the monitor screen may cause damage to it.

MOVING AND LIFTING THE MONITOR
When moving or lifting the monitor, follow these instructions to prevent the monitor from being scratched or damaged and to ensure safe transportation, regardless of its shape or size. • Place the monitor in the original box or packing material before attempting to move it.

  • Before moving or lifting the monitor, disconnect the power cord and all other cables.
  • Hold the bottom and side of the monitor frame firmly. Do not hold the panel itself.

NOTE

  • Vertical Frequency : In order to display an image, the screen must be refreshed dozens of times per second, like a fluorescent lamp. The number of times the screen is refreshed per second is called vertical frequency, or refresh rate, and is represented by Hz.
  • Horizontal Frequency: The time it takes to display one horizontal line is called the horizontal cycle. If 1 is divided by the horizontal interval, the result is the number of horizontal lines displayed per second. This is called horizontal frequency and is represented by kHz.
  • Check if the graphics card’s resolution or frequency is within the range allowed by the monitor and set it to the recommended (optimal) resolution Control Panel › Display › Settings in Windows. (The settings may differ depending on the operating system (Os) you use.)
  • Not setting the graphics card to the recommended (optimal) resolution may result in blurred text, a dimmed screen, a truncated display area or misalignment of the display.
  • The setting methods may be different depending on the computer or operating system, and some resolutions may not be available depending on the performance of the graphics card. If this is the case, contact the manufacturer of the computer or graphics card for assistance.

How can I change the frequency?

  • Set the frequency on your graphics card.
  • Windows 7 : Go to Control Panel → Appearance and Personalization → Display › Screen Resolution → Advanced settings → Monitor, and adjust Refresh rate under Monitor settings.
  • Windows 8 (Windows 8.1): Go to Settings → Control Panel → Appearance and Personalization → Display → Screen Resolution → Advanced settings ~ Monitor, and adjust Refresh rate under Monitor settings.
  • Windows 10 : Go to Settings → System → Display → Advanced display settings → Display adapter properties → Monitor, and adjust Screen refresh rate under Monitor settings.

How can I change the resolution?

  • Windows 7 : Go to Control Panel → Appearance and Personalization → Display Adjust Resolution, and adjust the resolution.
  • Windows 8 (Windows 8.1): Go to Settings → Control Panel → Appearance and Personalization → Display → Adjust Resolution, and adjust the resolution.
  • Windows 10 : Go to Settings → System → Display → Advanced display settings, and adjust the resolution.

How do I set power-saving mode?

  • Windows 7: Set power-saving mode in Control Panel → Appearance and Personalization → Personalize → Screen Saver Settings → Power options or BIOS SETUP on the PC.
  • Windows 8(Windows 8.1): Set power-saving mode in Settings → Control Panel → Appearance and Personalization → Personalize → Screen Saver Settings → Power options or BIOS SETUP on the PC.
  • Windows 10 : Set power-saving mode in Settings → Personalization → Lock screen → Screen timeout settings → Power & sleep or BIOS SETUP on the PC.
