General care instructions

  1. In most cases dirt, debris, spills, and pet hair can be removed by wiping with a damp cloth.
  2. Seat covers can be removed and machine washed on a low-temperature setting using mild detergent. Drip dry or machine tumble dry on a no-heat cycle. Straps should be coiled and secured with rubber bands for machine washing and drying.
  3. Soil may be removed with spray cleaner or detergent and water.
  4. Oil or grease stains should first be treated with a dry cleaning solvent followed by a spray cleaner or detergent and water.

IMPORTANT : AIRBAG COMPATABILITY

YOUR SEAT HAS SEAT-SIDE AIRBAGS. For maximum safety in the event of a crash, these airbags MUST NOT be restricted.

  • Your cover has been engineered with a tearaway flap (stitched with white thread) that will allow the airbag to deploy. Ensure that this flap & the orange TigerTough tag are facing the door.
  • TigerTough is not responsible for any issues resulting from incorrectly installed seat covers.

Install Seat Back Cover

  1. Slide the seat forward and raise it to the highest position to give you the most amount of working room.
  2. Remove the headrest covers by pressing the tabs on the headrest mounts.
  3. Detach the carpet flap from the back of the seat bottom as shown below.
  4. Pull down to detatch from the seat bottom
  5. Turn the seat back cover 3/4 of the way inside out, and slide onto seat back with the airbag patch and tag facing the door
  6. Press down around the headrest mounts to slide the material under the mounts for a clean look.
  7. Work the cover the rest of the way down the seat back. Slide the flaps with Velcro between the seat back and bottom.
  8. Take the carpet flap that you released and tuck it up under the seat back cover.
  9. From behind the seat, fasten the flaps from the top and the flaps from the bottom together.

Install Seat Bottom Cover

  1. Place cover over seat bottom, lining up cover seams with factory seams.
  2. Push the flaps between the back and the bottom of the seat. Tuck the sides of the cover between the plastic trim on the side of the seat. Drop the strings between the seat frame and seat cushion.
  3. Run the flap from the front of the seat underneath to the back, making sure to go above any seat adjustment levers or wires. Secure to flaps from the top
  4. Secure the strings together using the Stringlock device. (see next page)
  5. Take the long flap from the seat back and fasten it to the velcro on the seat bottom.
  6. Now the back and bottom are done! Straighten, adjust, and smooth the cover as needed.
  7. Re-attach the headrest. Slide the headrest cover on, and do up the velcro tab underneath.
  8. Repeat on the other side, and you’re done!
