Safety instructions

1. When used in combination with a child car seat, this car seat base has been approved for transportation in cars of children from birth, with a height between 40 and 87cm, up to maximum weight of 13 kg.
2. This child car seat base together with the car seat must always be used in a rearward facing position.
3. Never use the child car seat on a seat where an airbag is fitted and active. Refer to your vehicle user manual for information.
4. Never use thie child car seat with its side facing the vehicle seat. Any rigid items and plastic parts of the child car seat must be so located and installed that they are not liable, during everyday use of the vehicle, to become trapped by amovable seat or in a door of vehicle.
5. Please do not use any other load bearing points than the one described in this manaul because this can significantly reduce the protection of the child car seat.
6. Always secure your child with the safety harness when using this child car seat base together with the child car seat.
7. Never leave your child unattended.
8. Do not attempt to dissamble, modify or add to any part of the child car seat or change the way your vehicle seat belts are made or used.
9. After an accident the child car seat should be replaced. Although it may look undamaged, it may not protect your child as well as it should.
10. Do not place anything such as textile under the child car seat. This could affect the performance of the child car seat involved an accident.
11. Always make sure that the child car seat harness is correctly tensioned to ensure maximum protection for your child.

Installation and fitting information:

1. Ensure that your vehicle is equipped with ISOFIX anchor points.
2. Refer to the vehicle list in this manual for information of where the child car seat base will fit in your vehicle.
3. Open the Isofix support-leg. Press and hold Isofix arm adjustment buttons and extend the arms fully.
4. Position the child car seat base on the vehicle seat. Engage the Isofix arms and ensure that the security indicators are green.
5. Push the base back until it rests firmly against the vehicle seat backrest.
6. Adjust the support leg until it makes firm contact with vehicle floor and the support leg contact indicator is green.
7. Place car seat on base and push down until securing rods are fully engaged. The indicator will turn green. Lift the child car seat to check if it is locked and secured. Adjust the handle to the vehicle position.
8. For removing the child car seat from the base adjust the handle to carry position. Pull the child car seat release lever back and lift it off the base .
9. To remove the child car seat base, fully retract the support leg.
10. Disengage the ISOFIX arms. Remove the base from the vehicle seat.

Care and maintenance

Store your child car seat base in a dry, safe place. By storing it in a bad place the child car seat base will encourage mildew to form, so after exposure, clean it with a soft cloth and allow to dry before using again.
Avoid leaving the child car seat base in direct sunlight.
Inspect the child car seat base regularly for signs of damage – stop using the product if damage is found.
Plastic and metal parts can be cleaned with warm water and a mild detergent. Never clean with abrasive sponge, ammonia based or bleach based cleaners.
