Operating instructions
WARNING!

these operating instructions as well.

PROPER USE OF THE PRODUCT
The wheel stopper set is used to fasten bicycles with wide tyres measuring up to 3.25 inches on to bicycle racks. The set replaces the series wheel stopper of the EUFAB bicycle racks PREMIUM 2 (item no. 11521), PREMIUM 2+ (item no. 11523) and PREMIUM 3 (item no. 11522).
This device is not designed to be used by children or persons with limited mental abilities or without experience and/or lack of required specialist knowledge. Keep children away from the device.
The device is not designated for commercial use.
Utilisation according to the intended purpose also includes the observance of all information in these operating instructions, particularly the observance of the safety instructions. Any other utilisation is considered to be contrary to the intended purpose and may lead to material damage or personal injuries. EAL GmbH assumes no liability for damage resulting from improper use.

PREPARATION
Before you are able to use the wheel stopper set, you must first remove the standard wheel stopper of your bicycle rack.
To do so, proceed as follows:
- Remove the bicycle from the bicycle rack.
- Release the knurled nut from the standard bicycle rack.
- Push the wheel stopper towards the inner end of the wheel rail and use it push the end cap out of the wheel rail.
- Pull the wheel stopper out of the wheel rail.
MOUNTING THE WHEEL STOPPERS
- In the new wheel stoppers for wide tyres, the centre of the bicycle tyre is shifted by approx. 1 cm to the centre of the wheel rail. Insert the new wheel stopper with the guiding ridge (Position 3 in the overview) into the wheel rail so that the bicycle tyre is positioned away from the carry handle. See Figure 2.
- The wheel stoppers for the other half the wheel rail are used accordingly.
- Replace the end caps.

If you want to use a wheel stopper set on another bicycle rail of the bicycle rack, it must be assembled accordingly. I.e. the wheel stoppers must be assembled so that the wheel of the bicycle is fastened away from the carry handle.
CAUTION
The wheel stoppers must always be located between the wheels of the bicycle,
never in front of behind.
FASTENING THE TYRES
Press the unlocking lever (Position 5 in the Overview) upwards, Figure 3. Now
you can pull the pensioning belt (Position 6 in the overview) from the
turnbuckle (Position 4 in the overview).
Place the bicycle on the bicycle rack and fasten it with the frame holder
using the instructions of your bicycle rack. Push the wheel stoppers up to the
bicycle tyres and tighten the knurled nuts.

Place the tensioning belt around the rim of the bicycle and insert the tensioning belt into the turnbuckle. Position the rim protector (Position 7 in the overview) so that the tensioning belt is unable to damage the rim as a result of friction experienced during transport, Image 4. The tensioning belt is tightened by pulling the turnbuckle up several times.

MAINTENANCE AND CARE
When used as directed, the wheel stopper is maintenance-free. Clean the wheel stopper with a soft, dry cloth only. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or those containing solvents. When heavily soiled, use a brush and water to clean the teeth of the tensioning belt and to guarantee a flawless functioning of the turnbuckle.
NOTES REGARDING ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Please dispose of the wheel stopper via the recycling bin or the
public/municipal collection points.
The materials are recyclable. Play a part in protecting our environment by
recycling or reusing waste equipment.
