Product Usage Instructions
Software Installation
To install the Video Pilot Client v7.3.2.120, download the software package from the i3 website at https://i3international.com/support/download.
Connection Type Improvement
When connecting using CMS domain and credentials, follow CMS connection type selection. For user-defined connection type (Direct/Relay/Video Streaming), switch between Relay and Direct connections if the current connection type fails.
Server Naming Convention Improvements
Servers downloaded from i3Host/CMS Servers now use the Site name as the Server name.

Q: How can I restore the original manually added servers?
A: To restore the original manually added servers, remove the i3Host/CMS connection information. The servers added manually will then be restored with their original login credential information. -

Re: Video Pilot Client v7.3.2.120 Release Notice
To all of our customers and partners;
This bulletin is the official notice of the Video Pilot Client v7.3.2.120 (Build 31-May-2024) release. The new software installation package is now available for download from the i3 website: https://i3international.com/support/download.
Effective Monday, July 8, 2024 this release package will be used as the default Production software version for all standard NVRs. To continue receiving your NVRs with an earlier version of SRX-Pro/VPC v7, please speak to your RSM to arrange for a “Special Routing” to be created for your NVRs.
New Features
i3Host/CMS integration improvement
- Connection type improvement. If connecting using CMS domain and credentials, follow CMS connection type selection. For user-defined connection type (Direct/Relay/Video Streaming), offer to switch between Relay and Direct connections when the current connection type fails. (#71325)
- Server naming convention improvements. (#65945) Servers downloaded from i3Host/CMS Servers use Site name as Server name.
- Uncheck “Overwrite local server when download and update NVR” checkbox by default for new installations and upgrades from older versions. (#65945)
- Support restoring the original manually-added servers, even in cases where i3Host/CMS connection has overwritten the local server information. Once i3Host/CMS connection information is removed, the servers that had been originally added manually, will be restored with their original login credential information. (#69724)
- Show i3Host username/password for each individual NVR instead of leaving those fields blank. (#71245)
Improvements
Text search improvements (#72891)
- The placeholder text in the search bar will dynamically change to match the active tab, such as “search maps”, “search channels”, or “search backup files”.
- Persistent search results: As you navigate across different tabs, your search results will remain intact, allowing for seamless transitions.
- The number of successful matches will be shown. E.g. “46 result(s)”
- Clear search text: An “x” icon will be available within the search bar for quick and easy clearing of the entered search terms.
