Special warnings

  • Read the warnings below to prevent fire, personal injury, or damage to the station or antenna.

  • Do not try to tune the station while driving. Doing so exposes you to the risk of road accidents.

  • This station is designed for a 12V/24V DC power supply.

  • Do not place the station on an excessively dusty, wet or unstable surface.

  • Do not connect the antenna during transmission, risk of burning or electric shock.

  • Please keep your distance from devices that create interference (such as: TV, generator, etc.)

  • Those who use pacemakers are advised to keep their distance from the antenna during transmission and especially not to touch it.

  • Do not bring metal objects close to the internal electrical part of the station; danger of electric shock.

  • Avoid exposing the station to temperatures lower than -26°C and higher than +80°C.
The temperature on board a vehicle can sometimes exceed 80°C, which can cause irreparable damage to the radio station in case of prolonged exposure. Do not expose the station to sunlight for a long time.

  • Do not put anything on the device, it will prevent it from cooling down.

  • Check if the vehicle’s battery is sufficiently charged, to avoid rapid discharge.

  • It is important to stop the station before starting the engine, to avoid damage caused by high voltage at start-up.\

  • When replacing the fuse, you must use a 2A 250V type F fuse.

  • Do not use a fuse with a higher value.

  • If an abnormal smell or smoke is detected coming from the station, turn off the radio immediately.

  • Do not transmit for a long time, the station may heat up and malfunction.

  • Keep the station away from children.

Other warnings

  • Before connecting or using this product, please read instructions carefully. Keep this manual for future reference.
  • Before using the station, connect the antenna. Check the SWR of the antenna before transmitting. An SWR that is too high can lead to damage to the station’s internal components that are not covered by warranty.
  • There are no user-serviceable parts of the station. For repairs, contact an authorized service center.
  • To prevent the risk of fire, use an appropriate power source.

Installation instructions

  • Before installing the radio station in the car, choose the most suitable location, so that you can use it without disturbing you while driving.

  • The power cable of the station includes a protection fuse, installed in the cigarette lighter plug. To power the station, insert the cigarette lighter plug into the dedicated slot under the dashboard of your car.

Warnings

  •  Make sure that the voltage at which you supply the station is 12V/24V.
  • If the fuse burns out, do not replace it with one of a higher value. The one in the factory has 2A.

Installing the antenna

  • To use the station you need an antenna that works in the 26-28MHz frequency range.
  • For antenna installation and calibration, contact a specialized technician.
  • Usually, the antenna must be positioned on the highest part of the vehicle, without being shielded by obstacles and as far as possible from any electrical source or electromagnetic noise. The coaxial cable of the antenna must not be interrupted or pressed.
  • Connect the plug on the end of the coaxial cable of the antenna to the antenna plug on the back of the station.
