Product Usage Instructions

Hardware Installation:

1. Turn off the Parallel Printer.
2. Connect the Print Server to a Parallel Printer using a Centronics 36-pin Parallel Printer Cable or directly to the printer.
3. Turn on the Parallel Printer.
4. Connect an RJ45 Ethernet cable between the Print Server and a Network Switch or Router.
5. Note: Configure the Print Server using a Host Computer on the same Network and IP Address Range as the default IP Address.
6. Plug the Power Adapter into the DC Power Port on the Print Server.
7. Wait for the Status LED to stop flashing.

Hardware Installation

3. Turn On the Parallel Printer.
4. Connect an RJ45 Ethernet cable between the Print Server and a Network Switch or Router.
   • Note: To configure the Print Server, the Host Computer must be on the same Network and IP Address Range as the Print Server’s default IP Address.

5. Plug the Power Adapter into the DC Power Port on the Print Server.
6. Wait until the Status LED has stopped flashing.
