Product Usage Instructions

Start-Up Procedure:

1. Switch on the AC to the inverter. The AC to the inverter is now switched on (refer to Image 1.1).
2. The battery and Power Light Icon will be orange after the AC to inverter initialization.
3. Switch on the battery as per manufacturer guide (refer to Image 1.2).
4. Switch on the PV DC switch if Solar has been installed.
5. The battery icon will turn blue, and the power indicator will start flashing to run the synchronization with the Grid.
6. Once successfully synced with the grid, the Backup port will switch on.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):

• Q: What should I do if the power indicator does not start flashing after switching on the battery?
  A: In case the power indicator does not start flashing, please ensure that the battery is connected properly and try switching it off and on again.

• Q: How do I know if the inverter has successfully synced with the grid?
  A: The Backup port switching on indicates that the inverter has successfully synchronized with the grid.

Overview

The start-up procedure guide is a step-by-step guide to starting up a standard 3Phase Hybrid inverter range after commissioning.

1. Confirm the Quick Set up has been completed before initial start-up (refer to Solis SOP 50K Quick Set up v1.1)
2. Ensure all AC & DC sources have been connected under the manual, tested, and isolated. (The inverter should be off at this stage)

• Step 1 – Switch on AC to the inverter
  The Inverter HMI will light up and the battery Icon & Power indicator should then be orange(warning) status- Refer to image 1.1

• Step 2 – Switch on the battery If and when the communication between the battery and the inverter is correct will the battery, icon turn blue, and the power indicator will then start flashing to run the synchronization with the Grid. Refer to image 2.1

• Step 3 – Switch on the PV DC switch, if Solar has been installed.

Using Instruction

• Step 1- Switch on the AC to the inverter
  AC to the inverter is now switched on Image 1.1

  • The battery and Power Light Icon will be orange after the AC to inverter initialization has taken place.
    You would then need to follow Step 2 by switching on the battery as per the manufacturer’s guide. Image 1.2

• Step 2- Switch on the battery

  • The battery icon will turn blue, and the power indicator will then start flashing to run the synchronization with the Grid.
  • Once successfully synced with the grid the Backup port will then switch on.

• Step 3 – Switch on the PV DC switch, if Solar has been installed.
