You do not have to worry that your battery will be exhausted by the camera recording while the vehicle is parked. Set the voltage limit before the power cut-o for the camera according to the table below (the diagram may not correspond to your battery type)

FOR EXAMPLE: If the temperature of surroundings is 38 °C (100 °F) and you want to keep 50% of the battery capacity when the kit cuts o the power for the camera, you should set the kit so that the power is cut off when the battery voltage is 12.192 V. Set the battery protection switch to the 12.2 V setting. Only 50% of the battery capacity will be used on the car camera, even if you leave the car parked for a long time. If it is a 50Wh lead-acid battery, 50% of the capacity will allow for approximately 100 hours of camera recording. There are 4 protection settings in the Xblitz R4 Power. You can switch between them according to your needs:

  1. For 12V batteries, the protective settings are: 11.8 V/12.0 V/12.2 V/12.4 V.
  2. For 24V batteries, the protective settings are: 23.6 V/24.0 V/24.4 V/24.8 V.

The Xblitz R4 Power Kit automatically recognizes the lead-acid battery and will protect it from over-discharge. The 12.2 V/24.4 V setting is recommended for most users.
