SECTION 7 Commissioning and operation
7.1 Switch on & commissioning
· Secure all pipes and cables. · Turn on the mains water supply and check
for leaks.
· Switch on the mains power supply.
· All HydroChill models must be sanitised during the commission process, please contact Zip on 0345 6 005 005 to book a commissioning service.
· If your appliance is left idle before use, for water taste and quality reasons, any non-use of more than 48 hours, we recommend a system flush be performed.
· On first use after a period of non-use, run the chilled function for 60 seconds to flush the filter and system. Not flushing the system may affect the water quality. If taste or water quality issues persist, a filter change and sanitisation may be required.
· Due to the factory sanitisation process, residue from the sanitisation liquid might remain in the appliance, which requires the appliance to be flushed with fresh water at installation. So the first few glasses of water may look soapy with presence of bubbles.
· As part of the sanitising process press the tap lever to flush the filter through with 10 litres of water before first use.
· Check that the water is clear, and that there are no soapy looking bubbles in the dispensed water.
