GPS Air IDF-2 Ceiling Tile Fan
Product Information
The IDF-2TM air ionization system from GPS Air is a high-quality product
designed to improve air quality in various environments. It comes with a
comprehensive Installation, Operation & Maintenance Manual for easy setup and
maintenance. The system
includes the IDF-2 air ionization system, Installation, Operation &
Maintenance Manual, and a Remote Control. However, it does not include
electrical wiring, junction box, or receptacle for power connection.
Location
The IDF-2 should be installed in a suitable location where it can effectively improve air quality. Please refer to the Installation section in the manual for detailed instructions on proper placement.
Wiring
The IDF-2 requires a power source of 120-240 VAC. It is recommended to connect
the IDF-2 to a switched power source, such as a lighting circuit. If
connecting to a non-switched circuit, ensure there is a means of disconnecting
power from the fan. Follow
the provided instructions and use a 1/2 trade size conduit fitting or grommet
for incoming power connections.
Product Usage Instructions
Installation
- Remove the ceiling tile where the IDF-2 will be installed.
- Insert the IDF-2 diagonally through the opening and gently place it onto the 2′ x 2′ ceiling frame.
- Slide the adjacent ceiling tile away to allow easy access to the terminal block.
- Using a Philips-head screwdriver, remove the terminal block cover and keep the screws for reassembly.
