British Gymnastics Applying Welfare Officer Waiver Coach Instructions
How do I apply for a welfare officer waiver?
This guide will show you how to apply for a welfare officer waiver as a coach.
Please note that you will need to have booked onto the relevant course(s) to
apply for a waiver
This guide will cover:
- How to log in
- How to apply for a welfare officer waiver
Log into your ‘My BG account’
using your email
address/username
and password
Once you have logged in, click on the ‘profile tab’
Select the
‘credentials’ tab
Here you will see a list of your current credentials
Click ‘add credentials’ tab
A tray will appear from the right -hand side
Use the search bar at the top to find the ‘Welfare Officer Waiver’ and
select the correct credential
Complete the form and click ‘save’
The dates will be prepopulated and edited by British Gymnastics upon approval
British Gymnastics will be notified of your application
This will show as ‘pending approval’ whilst British Gymnastics review your
application
Once your waiver has been approved, you will receive a notification email and
the credential will appear as ‘active’ on your profile with the relevant
expiry date
