Please read these instructions carefully before installing or using this appliance for the first time.
WARNING Please read these instructions before installing or using this appliance for the first time.
- The warranty of the fan will not cover any damage caused by non-observance of any of these instructions. The instructions should be retained for future reference. This guide must be kept and given to any new owner.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be made by children without supervision.
- Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 year’s shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 year’s shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
- Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
- Please check that the voltage in the rating label fits the power supply.
- The use of this fan is forbidden in any area where there is a presence of gases, explosives or inflammable objects.
- Do not use this fan to dry clothes. Do not cover this fan or put the connecting cable nor any other objects in contact with it.
- This fan should be switched off and disconnected, before any repair work is carried out or when moving it from one location to another.
- The appliance must be used in such a way that it is impossible to touch it for anyone using a bath, shower, pool or similar. Never touch the appliance when barefoot or with wet or damp hands.
- If the connection cable is damaged, in order to avoid danger risk, it may only be replaced by an identical one, from a workshop recognised by the manufacturer.
- This appliance is a portable fan. The device must not be fastened to the wall.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not allow the fan or the connecting cable to come into contact with any hot surface.
- Do not use the fan in the presence of dust, high humidity or ambient temperature above 40°C.
- Make sure the fan is on a firm, level and horizontal surface during use.
- Make sure that there are no objects in the vicinity of the fan that can prevent the fan head swinging.
- Never put a finger or anything else through the protective grille into the working fan. Especially be careful with regard to children.
- Do not spray any chemicals on the fan to prevent damage or colour change to the plastic material.
- This appliance is for domestic use only. Never use it outdoors or in any commercial or industrial environment.
DESCRIPTION AND FUNCTIONS
This product is intended to circulate air in a room.
This product is intended for normal indoor domestic use only. This product is
not intended for use in commercial, industrial, or outdoor environments.
PARTS DESCRIPTION
CONTROL PANEL AND OPERATION
The control panel is located on the base of the fan and looks as follows:
Starting
Check the household voltage to ensure it matches the appliance’s rated
specification. Be sure to plug into a 230V~, 50Hz/60Hz outlet.
Put in the plug, you can hear “Bi,” and the display shows the room
temperature. Press and the fan starts at first speed and “I” is shown at the
display.
The display will halve its brightness after 15 seconds without operating the
control panel. If it is used again, the brightness will be restored.
Speed
This fan has 12 speeds. Press to increase the speed. Press to decrease
the speed.
When you choose a speed, the number will be shown fixed on the display and
after a few seconds it will start to alternate with the value of the ambient
temperature.
Modes
Press if you want to select and use one of the three default modes:
In “Eco” mode the fan will start to run at the speed previously selected until the ambient temperature decreases by 2°C. Then the speed drops to the next lower value.
The following is an example, assuming the current fan speed is 7 and the room temperature is 36°C:
- When the temperature drops to 34°C, the fan speed will drop to 6.
- When the temperature drops to 32°C, the fan speed will drop to 5
- When the temperature drops to 30°C, the fan speed will drop to 4
- and so on.
In “Baby” mode the display will show 0 and the fan speed will be reduced to a
minimum.
In “Boost” mode the fan starts running at speed 12 and swings 90° vertically
and horizontally for 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes, it stops swinging and starts running at speed 3, directing
the airflow to the front.
Press again and no default mode will stay selected.
Timer
The fan has an operating timer from 1 hour (1H) to 8 hours (8H).
Press once and the display will show the current timer hours setting and
the led indicator will light up.
Press again to change the timer hours setting.
Head swinging
Press once and the fan will swing 45° to the right and left automatically.
Press again and the fan will swing 90° to the right and left automatically.
Press by third time and horizontal swinging will stop.
Press once and the fan will swing 45° up and down automatically. Press again
and the fan will swing 90° up and down automatically. Press by third time and
vertical swinging will stop.
Child lock
Press for 3 seconds to lock the control panel. All other keys on the control
panel shall remain inoperative.
If you need to cancel the lock function, press again for 3 seconds.
Memory function
When the fan is in stand-by, it can memorise the last operating status. Press
it will go back to the previous status.
If the power supply has been disconnected, the memory of the last status is
deleted.
REMOTE CONTROL
The remote control has the same function as the control panel.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Turn off the fan and unplug it from the power socket if cleaning or maintenance is required.
The fan only needs to be cleaned externally. Dust it regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Never rinse or spray the fan. To avoid discolouration or deformation, never use aggressive or corrosive cleaning agents.
To clean the blades, remove the screw located in the lower area of the rear grille, as shown in the picture. Turn the front grille to the opening position until the marks match and remove it outwards.
After cleaning, please make sure that the blades are dry and reinstall the front grille.
If the fan is to be stored at the end of the season, it should preferably be repacked in its original packaging, which offers the best protection. Store it in a safe, dry place that is not subject to extremes of heat or cold.
Please take the fan to a clean point once their useful life is finished, to recycle their materials in the right way. Remove the remote control battery for recycling or disposal, according to local regulations.
