REMOTE CONTROLLER
FAN COIL FGS-DC
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Please read these instructions carefully before installing or using this appliance for the first time.
- The warranty will not cover any damage caused by non observance of any of these instructions.
- This guide must be kept and given to any new user. Use this appliance only as described in this manual.
- Curtain, door or similar objects will prevent the remote signal from being received by the fan coil unit.
- Do not get the interior of remote controller wet. It is forbidden to expose it to direct sunlight or locate it in the place with high temp.
- Effective transmitting distance of remote controller is 8 meters.
- Do not drop or throw the remote control.
- This a standard remote. Some models do not have all the functions described in this manual, reserves the right not to inform exclusively.
BUTTONS AND FUNCTIONS

Operating Description

1| **MODE| Once pressing, running mode will be selected in the
following sequence: Auto, Cool, Dry, Fan, Heat.
** 2| **FAN SPEED| Fan Speed can be selected by pressing this
button: Auto, Low, Medium and High.

| Decrease the set temperature. Keeping pressed will decrease the temperature
with 1ºC per 0.5s.
**** 4|
| Increase the set temperature. Keeping pressed will increase the temperature
with 1ºC per 0.5s.
5| ON/OFF| Press this button to turn on / off the fan coil unit.
6| AIR DIRECTION| Press this button to change the angle of the air
deflector.
7|
| Vertical Swing. Turn on / off automatic vertical swing of the air deflector.
8| **| Without use.
9| CLOCK| Display the current time. (12:00 is displayed when resetting
or electrifying for the first time). Press CLOCK for 5s, icon indicating hour
will flash. Press it again, icon indicating minute will flash. and **are
used to adjust the figure.
Setting or modification is effective only by pressing OK button to make
confirmation.
10| **TIMER ON| For timer ON setting. Once pressing this button,
the time will increase by 0.5 hour. Adjusting the figure to 0.00 will cancel
timer ON setting.
** 11| **TIMER OFF| For timer OFF setting. Once pressing this
button, the time will increase by 0.5 hour. Adjusting the figure to 0.00 will
cancel timer OFF setting.
** 12| **RESET| (Inner located). Press this button with a needle of
1mm to cancel the current setting and reset remote controller.
** 13| **LOCK| (Inner located). Press this button with a needle of
1mm to lock or unlock the current setting.
14| OK| Used to confirm the time setting and modification.
** 15| **COOL/HEAT| (Inner located). Press this button with a
needle of 1mm to shift mode between COOL only and COOL&HEAT. During setting,
back light will be lightened.
Factory default mode is COOL &HEAT.
16| ECO**| Activate or turn off economic operation mode.
INDICATORS AND FUNCTIONS

2| Transmitting display| The icon will flash once when the signal is
sent by remote controller.
3| ON/OFF| Icon is displayed when the remote controller is turned on, or
vice versa.
4| **Running mode| Auto, Cool, Dry, Heat o Fan icon are
displayed to indicate the current operating mode.
5| Time| Display the current set time.
6| Lock| The icon will be lightened or off when pressing LOCK.
** 7| Timer On / Off| In the state of timer ON, icon ON will be
lightened, which is the same to the state of timer OFF.
8| Economic operation| This icon will be lightened or off when pressing
ECO button.
9| Fan Speed| It is displayed the current fan speed.
BATTERIES REPLACEMENT
- Slide the front cover of the remote controller to access the batteries.
- Remove the old batteries.
- Insert two new batteries AAA 1,5V and make sure to place them in the right pole.
- Slide the front cover back.
Notes:
- Do not put the used or different batteries into the remote controller, otherwise remote controller will fail to send signal.
- Please remove the batteries before long period unused, otherwise the remote controller may be damaged.
- If no receiving sound is heard from indoor unit or on remote controller does not flash, please replace the batteries.
- The batteries mut be removed from the remote control before if is disposed. Batteries must be disposed of safely.
OPERATING MODES
Auto Mode
Press MODE button to select the Auto operating mode:
– Adjust the set point temperature by using and **.
– Press ON/OFF button to turn on / off the fan coil unit.
– The fan speed cannot be adjusted in this mode.
Cool / Heat / Fan Mode
Press MODE button to select the desired operating mode: Cool / Heat / Fan.
– Adjust the set point temperature by using and **.
– Press ON/OFF button to turn on / off the fan coil unit.
– In Fan Mode, the set-point temperature cannot be adjusted. The economic
operation cannot be selected in this mode.
Dry Mode
Press MODE button to select the Dry operating mode:
– Adjust the set point temperature by using and ****.
– Press ON/OFF button to turn on / off the fan coil unit.
– The fan speed cannot be adjusted in this mode.
TIMER ON / OFF
TIMER ON and TIMER OFF are used to turn on and turn off the unit at the set
time respectively.
Timer ON operation
– Press TIMER ON, icons SET, HOUR and ON are lightened.
– Press TIMER ON again and adjust the time. The time will increase by 0.5
hour.
– When time setting is elapsed, the remote controller will send the ON signal
to the fan coil unit.
Timer OFF operation
– Press TIMER OFF, icons SET, HOUR and ON are lightened.
– Press TIMER OFF again and adjust the time. The time will increase by 0.5
hour.
– When time setting is elapsed, the remote controller will send the OFF signal
to the fan coil unit.
Timer On and Timer Off simultaneously
– Set TIME ON and OFF according to above procedures.
– Time ON will send the ON signal to the unit when the time setting has been
elapsed.
– Time OFF operation will start after the unit has been turned ON. It will
send the OFF signal to the unit when the time setting has been elapsed.
Modify and cancel timer
– Press corresponding button (Timer ON or Timer OFF) to readjust the time ON
or Time OFF operation.
– Adjust the time figure to 0.0 to cancel the timer operation.
