SAFETY ADVICE AND WARNINGS

• Read these instructions carefully before switching on the appliance and keep them for future reference. Failure to follow and observe these instructions could lead to an accident.
• Clean all the parts of the product that will be in contact with food before use, as indicated in the cleaning section.
• This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.
• This appliance is not intended to be operated using an external timer or a separate remote-control system.
• The bread may burn, therefore do not use the toaster near or below combustible material, such as curtains.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard.
• This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
  • staff kitchen areas in shops, offices, and other working environments;
  • farmhouses;
  • by clients in hotels, motels, and other residential-type environments;
  • bed and breakfast-type environments

This symbol means that in case you wish to dispose of the product once its working life has ended, take it to an authorized waste agent for the selective collection of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).
